***What Are You Smoking, May 2025?***

@Steddy: I just blew neat Scotch down both nostrils - that was some funny shit!

***What Are You Smoking, May 2025?***

Got bored smoking CCP so I thought I would switch to Grannies underwear so I am doing a bowl of Cannon Plug in this French small bowl meerschaum 'Cutty' pipe circa turn of the century.

    Musings on Tobacco Economics

That is one of the advantages of living in the 'Colonies' I will miss when I return to dear old Blighty!

Show Off Your Meerschaum Pipes Here!

Here is something new that I have added to the Condor rotation after it has recently undergone the most amazing case and cheroot holder restoration by an amazingly talented forum member.

***What Are You Smoking, May 2025?***

I have been absent for a while. First I got hammered with an upper respiratory tract infection from hell that lasted a month followed by a week long appearance in Atlanta, Georgia. Today I am going to take this beautiful 'Cutty' pipe for a test drive that was a gift from a very dear friend in...

    Priceless

Well we did use the 'Rub Your Own' slogan for War Horse Ready Rubbed with the picture of the nice old fellow putting his arm around the young steel worker from a reworked 1930s War Horse Plug advert!

    First Morels of the Season

They used to show up in a forest close to my Mothers house in Essex. One autumn they literally covered a clearing in the forest with the damn things. An incredible site that I have not seen since. They do taste good when added to stews.

    Ghosts are REAL!

The color scheme from a well trodden Atlantic City Casino? The site is much more blingy these days and seems to be so much easier to post endless pictures of 'Cutty' pipes - what is not to love about this place. As for Starcat isn't he sleeping with the fishes now! rotf

***What Are You Smoking, May 2025?***

Coniston Cut Plug in a small meerschaum 'Cutty' pipe. If you are all well behaved I might even post a picture!

A Ruger $200 Back Pocket Glock

@Joe H : There is something about the Colt Walker that says 'I may need a fence post to fire the thing but hell you are going down if I hit you!'. It is a fabulous weapon and it can blow up a pumpkin or anything else you hit with it. You just have to remember to take it apart and wash it in hot...

    I Just Smoke A Pipe

I have never thought about it in very great detail. I like smoking a pipe and I have always done so. Sometimes I smoke a lot and sometimes I can go for days without smoking. I have always smoked the same style of pipe and the same British types of tobacco.

A Ruger $200 Back Pocket Glock

That's really nice. But I much prefer the ultimate 'pocket rocket' with the stopping power of a Cruise Missile, cheap acquisition cost, cheap to reload and if you run out of shots you can club your opponent to death with it. I must admit it is a little challenging in the 'Conceal Carry'...

    Gawith 'Cutter Top' on Tinbids

Went for $305 which was $5 more than I was bidding. That is not a terrible price by 'Cutter Top' standards but still a hell of a premium for 2 oz of tobacco!

    Gawith 'Cutter Top' on Tinbids

My guess is that it was a pretty regional tobacco so the empty tins just got tossed in the rubbish. Since it was not a widely distributed mass produced blend that reduced the chance for empty tins to become screw or bolt repositories on a garage shelf. Most of what they did was twist which was...

Pesse Canoe Flakes Now Available In The UK

I'll have to give it a go as I absolutely used to love Turkish cigarettes when I was in my 20s.

    Gawith 'Cutter Top' on Tinbids

Thats the tin that is for sale on tinbids that was supposedly found in a long shuttered tobacconist and is shown on Instagram. The bidding will go way over $300 before it is done and thats more than I am willing to pay as I usually find them for people on here during my UK visits. I just asked...

    Gawith 'Cutter Top' on Tinbids

I have never seen one before and yes I am bidding on it. Anyone else on here ever see one before. I heard rumor of Gawith 'Cutter Top' tins showing up with Squadron Leader but I have never seen one in my life. Anyone else throw some light on the subject?

    First Time Growing, Plugging...

You might want to pick up a book called 'Grow Your Own Tobacco by Guy N Smith' as that is quite informative!
