    Seeking VaPers With Red Virginia

Definitely give Bayou Morning Flake a shot. It’s a VaPer but it’s quite different than most of the figgy, raisin, sweetness typical of other VaPers in my opinion. To me it’s darker, still a nice red fruit kind of thing but more on the fermented and tangy side. Also quite strong compared to other...

I wasn’t quick enough to snap a shot of the specs but it’s about 136mm long and 55 grams. Corti has a couple of beauties just posted as well.

I broke it in with some Gaslight and it’s a great shape. Very comfortable clench despite its weight thanks to the wide bit and short length, love it!

Has anybody got a side by side shot of a shape 33 and a shape 10? I finally nabbed my first 33 but I’m curious how they compare.

Show Us Your Knife (And Pipe)

I love the Shaman, it’s probably a little too chunky for most tasks but has a really nice feel to it so I end up carrying it often. I’ve got a few sets of AWT scales and they’ve all been great fits with nice machining, I’m sure you’ll enjoy them.

Ordered some sunglasses trays from amazon and hacked them into the drawer on this cabinet. Not too involved but very functional now!

    Zippo, Great company

I had a similar experience with Zippo Canada. It’s essentially a distributor with an unfriendly, uncurious and uninformed staff. kind of shocking that Zippo USA lets them be the brand ambassador for them in Canada.

Snagged a vintage stout squat bulldog. I rubbed some briar balm onto it and it brought out a deeper red which is really nice, this and the other vintage stout pipe I have tended to look a bit yellow in an unappealing way when I first got them but they’re turning out to be great little pipes.

    Bird Flu 2025

Agreed. The news around here have started doing things like reporting on “bomb cyclones” (a windstorm), which ended up being nothing at all and neglected to report at all about a windstorm that ended up killing a few people. I see it as a pattern of reading things into the world that maybe...

I was on the fence about that billiard for a while, came so close to pulling the trigger. It looks great, glad to see it show up here!
