You're right about that. I met him a couple of years back at the Muletown pipe show in Columbia. Very nice and talented.

I agree, Ben. Every time Paul displays that pipe, I secretly hope he is wearing "black tie and tails" as he smokes it. ;)

Thank you, Tim. Yes, it is the carving along with a slight glare from the surrounding light. I went back and looked again and it does look a bit like an insert, but it's all morta. I appreciate the comments.

But..... an old friend from Germany was in town and wanted to do some riding and you know how "obliging" I am, so I tossed Titus on the trailer and headed off to...

Well, congratulations to you, Jim for finding a good home for Norton, the Nosey. Although, I think you and your wife will miss him a lot, once he is gone.

Well, after I took off the recyclables, I did my civic duty by early voting. When I got home, I channeled my inner William Faulkner and had some My Mixture 965 in a Comoy's billiard. Such a pretty day and another coming in tomorrow.

***What Are You Smoking, November 2025?***

My dad's 1st cousin was a tail gunner in a B-17 in WWII. His plane was shot down over German controlled territory and he was a POW for the better part of a year. Years later, when back home, a black widow bit him in the calf of the leg. I was told that a huge chunk of his calf just rotted and...
