Did a set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. Tomato the Brave kept coming up to me for attention. Harry the Hairy is inside. Daisy the Feral Princess is snoozin' in a cat house.

Trying out my first bowl of Black Frigate in the English cob:

The Blockade Runner Virginias definitely make their presence known! I still struggle to describe how they taste, compared to more straightforward Virginia blends. But I enjoyed how all the flavors worked together here, and I'd like to "season" this pipe with a few more bowls to get the full effect. My only complaint was that I needed to clear away the fine ash a few times, and I packed the pipe a little too tight. User errors that I'll be happy to work on.

Sutliff 507-C in the Vauen Olaf bent egg with 9mm filter very early this morning on the way to see the third doctor, the one who could give me a cortisone shot, regarding my back injury 3 months ago and good news: The physical exam was successful and doesn't justify any medication at this point for that back problem --- in other words after multiple x-rays, catscans and MRIs and and three months to get an appointment --- the problem healed itself ! Welcome to modern medicine ! It works ! puffy They are now recommending surgery on a problem I didn't know I had until all the tests. I'm hoping by the time I get an appt for a second opinion that issue may be healed as wellpuffy On a scale of 1-10 the tobacco and pipe enjoyment was a 10. Have a great day and weekend everyone.

Time heals all wounds ... one way or another ! ;) :ROFLMAO:
An apple a day keeps the doctor away ! (An apple will keep anyone away if you throw it hard enough! :ROFLMAO:)

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Jamaican Estate Reserve, neat, is my drink. My old friend John really likes Norton the Nosey, but wants to get through today's cataract surgery and the next one before adopting Norton. He also wants to cat proof his house, so the li'l fella will be with us a little longer. I don't think Norton will mind. All of us played with him and Norton was in heaven getting all that attention, and play time.

Well, congratulations to you, Jim for finding a good home for Norton, the Nosey.
Although, I think you and your wife will miss him a lot, once he is gone.

Part way through this bowl of year 2021 Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson Ebony POTY 4AB No. 422/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Cleaned a few pipes. Got a few San Diego Pipe Club blends in today for review. One of them I helped John Brandt make: Coronado Oriental. Going to post the Low Country Carolina Christmas review soon.

There's no question that we will miss him when he's gone. It was instant love between all of us, but Norton the Nosey needs an environment free of intimidation from other cats. And my buddy really could use the company, and John is a great and very caring cat person. As a guess, I expect we'll have Norton for two to three more weeks.

One thing that really worried m'lady and me the most is something I have been reluctant to discuss. Norton is very much like Abner the Eager was when he came in to our lives. After two and half years of being ignored and hated by the other cats, we saw his personality change from the joyful, full of life, happy go lucky cat to occasionally being sullen and afraid because of how they treated him. We do not want that to happen to Norton. His needs come before ours.
