    My Birthday Antique Shop Hunt..

Nice Scores and Happy Belated Birthday! I found an Amphora Canadian awhile back in a junk shop for $7...yours looks flawless in comparison to the shape I found mine in. It's rocking a chip in the top inside of the bowl. I cleaned it up and it's a wonderful Lat pipe. It really has a unique taste...

    How Old Were You?

Cigars at 16. First pipe and cigs at 18. Chewed for about 6 months around 19 or 20. Finally kicked the cigs again (third times the charm). I'm 26 now and hope to enjoy my pipe and occasional cigar for a long time.

    A Master Penman at Work

My wife is a huge proponent of handwriting and print books. She makes feather quills and has done quite well selling them on Etsy. That really is a lost art. Beautiful work!

    What I Collect....

Sounds like a fun hobby! I seem to collect hobbies and knowledge of hobbies haha. I collect pipes/tobacco, have a planted aquarium, collect old books, collect vinyl, but more than anything I collect knowledge about hobbies I can't afford or don't have time for. I'm a car nut but don't have my...

    Smoking Yard Debris!

I have some of their natural cavendish that a friend gave me...yard debris is a good way of describing it! I ended up tossing it in my scraps jar.

    Shotgun Advice

Zonomo you can have an interchangable stock! Check out Mossbergs new flex system. It allows you to change out between a rifle stock, pistol grip, or pistol grip with stock without any tools and I think all the guns with the flex system come with all three stocks.

    Shotgun Advice

Honestly I think it's all about personal preference when it comes down to the Remington vs. Mossberg debate. Personally I'd be happy to own either I've shot both and like both equally. I prefer the controls on the Mossberg for a stress situation. Slide release location allows you to use your...

    Surprises in GL Pease Tins?

Actually in my last tin of Ashbury I found two whole leaves of Latakia and took them out and smoked them on their own. It was quite interesting and actually an enjoyable experience. I also think since the tin was from '07 the Latakia was mellowed enough to smoke straight.

How do You Pack a Bowl?

For ribbon cut English blends I also use the "Harry method" putting the tobacco in my palm usually more than is needed and place the bowl per the tobacco and move it in a circle and kind of push the excess tobacco into the bowl with my thumb. This seems to work best for me and leaves an air...

    Surprises in GL Pease Tins?

Anyone else find surprises in their GLP tins? So far I've found whole leaves of Latakia, flakes of Red VA, chunks of stalk, and generally just amazing tobacco. I feel like these little surprises contribute to the feel of the blends being handmade, almost as if they were blended by the tin...

Lets Make a Top 5 (Latika Blend)

    1. GL Pease Ashbury 2. SPC Plum Pudding 3. H&H Black House 4. H&H Larry's Blend 5. McClellend 3 Oaks Syrian This might change as I open some tins of GL Pease. I just opened an '06 Odyssey tin and am drying the first bowl right now. It looks amazing and smells like no other Latakia blend I've...

    Where Do You Smoke?

I used to smoke outside at work but seeing as its over a hundred degrees almost everyday that's not enjoyable. Recently I've been smoking on the way to and from work. It's a nice 30 to 45 min drive and it helps me relax especially in traffic. Once the weather is nicer Ill be out on my patio.

KB&B Heatherby & Paragon PAD + Pics From An American Classics Starter Collection

Beautiful, I really like the KB&B Yellobole. I haven't seen the KB&B as much as Kaywoodie, although I've really just started looking at the American classics after my estate scores this month. If you're interested in that WDC I picked up PM me.

    BagPipes

Working at a sporting goods store I always think its hilarious when people come in asking for corn hole. To me it's bean bag toss an I have no idea why anyone would call it corn hole.

Do You Find Yourself Gravitating Toward 'Simpler' Tobaccos?

I tend to get a bit bored with certain smokes but mainly those are Aros. I don't like a single flavor to be present throughout the bowl. I like straight VA's but usually a good one will develop different flavors and textures as the bowl progresses. I enjoy smoking one blend for awhile but...
