***What Are You Smoking, August 2020?***

You caved and put in the order! Good for you - I bet you'll enjoy those HU blends. I talked myself out of ordering any (again). Damn my scruples. :ROFLMAO:

I've never tried it either, but "smoking a plum thicket" sounds like an intriguing start!

You have a real sense of humor about it - I'd be very tempted to contract someone to nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

***What Are You Smoking, August 2020?***

I made up an order of a bit over $300 to justify the shipping cost, and keep thinking, "There's plenty of tobacco just sitting here in jars in tins that you haven't opened yet....". What a shame HU doesn't have an American importer (and apparently isn't likely to have one).

C&D Star of the East in a Falcon bent stem with meerschaum bowl. Strong-brewed black tea to accompany. Spending the morning trying to convince myself to NOT place an order for a passel of HU tobacco tins. Will I succeed?

***What Are You Smoking, August 2020?***

If I hadn't had 2 grandfathers and a number of pipe-smoking uncles to move me to try a pipe, Lewis or Tolkien would have done the trick. I bet those Inkling meetings absolutely reeked of strong-smelling 'baccy.
