Not gonna be able to smoke for 5 days!!!
Im not saying that they dont know that i smoke a pipe. Im actually VP of a pipe club full of ppeople 20-40 years older than me and both my parents and they think that is funny, they just dont like me doing it, around my little brother and everything. How Many Blends Do You Smoke?
I have to update my response, i have about 6 or 7 open, Orlik, Sherlock holmes, university flake, solani perique, mississippi river, rum and maple, sutliff early morning smoke, and macbarens club mixture, so 8 haha- jchaplick

I absolutely agree, i found the same pipe, for the same price (peterson 313 for 75 bucks) oone sold in NY, one sold in England, I live in pennsylvania, ill give you 3 guesses on which postage was cheaper and ill give you a hint, it wasnt the one in ny- jchaplick

Haha, yeah, im not too worried about withdrawel, im more worried about overall stress level, its just that the only place i dont feel comfortable smoking is around my family during the holidays, but that place i probably really need to smoke is....around my family during the holiday... they can...- jchaplick

Not gonna be able to smoke for 5 days!!!
Im at college and live away from home and im going home on tuesday for thanksgiving. My parents dont quite care for me smoking so i usually quit while im home out of respect. Either way im stuck taking a break for a couple days and im not so happy about it. I have to go from about 4 or 5 bowls...- jchaplick

Tell Me What I might Like
Never had either of those blends, but i would recommend, based on my own experience with starting, maybe Orlik golden sliced, its a very good straight VA. Its also very accessible, and then, easy to judge where to go from there. Thats how i was taught i guess- jchaplick

What beers are you drinking with your pipe?
Personally i think its better to pair a specific beer with a specific blend, i know thats not the answer youd like but thats how its worked best for me. An example is i really enjoyed that new guiness black lager with solani vaper, its quite heavy on the perique so they paired well- jchaplick

Anybody have one of those forever stems?
Im not too much of a clencher with regular pipe stems, i actually rarely just hold them in my mouth, just smething about those cob stems i like to bite hard on them and then they fit to my teeth and i then clench the hell out of them. Just a bad habit i guess -

Anybody have one of those forever stems?
Ive been looking into them for my cob for a year now, not sure if they are worth the money, or i should just keep spending the 75 cents a month for those cruddy plastic ones for my cob. Not sure whether to go vulcanite or lucite. Any suggestions
