I haven't a clue Bob. One thing that I'm curious about is the case. In the top photo, the interior is dark and in the last photos, the interior is light. Is this the same case? Is that a crack in the heel of the bowl? My advise is to get a good Meerschaum. Whatever's going on with this... -

What's the worst tobacco you've ever smoked?
I know that I'm outside of the mainstream taste profile, but I don't mind it a bit at all. For me, the worst blends include: 1-Q, Mixture 79, 1792 and John Rolf's Peach Brandy.- fred

How long is a bowl?
Mason has hit on the important points but I can add a bit more. The cut and moisture level also are important, especially in smoking Flake blends. Flakes will burn longer, slower and cooler while yielding more flavor when smoked in the slice instead of rubbing them out. Beyond the mechanics...- fred
