Deertongue
I tried 'crooner' which is another bing crosby blend. It is chunks of burley and deer tongue. Vanilla, not really. Its more of an herbal flavor- jchaplick

Looking for a sitter.
Mr brog amigo, like 20 bucks, I have one and wrote a review a while back. Thing isnt beautiful but it sure smokes well. And because it is so cheap its ok to knock around -

May be getting sick...
Imay have understated things, I never take a break until im really sick, The dr says I have such a bad case of strep throat it may turn to scarlet fever even though he already gave me meds. I feel horrible, and im missing my pipe already- jchaplick

Whats this thing for anyways?
Personally i dont like them, and if they just come out like your saying yours does, I toss it. If I have to cut, break, bend, or snap it off, I usually keep it, for historical accuracy I guess. Not sure why I cant bring myself to just cut them off. Either way, if I just can take it off or...- jchaplick

Personally I think the tobacco is the same if not more important to keep in stock than the pipes -
