I Got Chastised At Work For Smoking
That is pretty cool, I would definitely just bring one, maybe a cob, in to work. I doubt if you kept it away from the cooking stuff, it would smell. I would go for it, maybe pre pack it at home, and wrap the bowl in tin foil, and just bring the pipe- jchaplick

Opinions on Black & Mild pipe tobacco cigars?
Personally I would take backwoods over them any day of the week, wood tips are ok, but if I want a cheap smoke, Ill load a cob, If I cant do that Ill grab a cigar, If I cant do that, a backwoods is ok if I can get my hands on them, if not them, I probably wont smoke- jchaplick

Bobs Cocolatte flake, possible secret?
In the Bob Tate article, in the bottom right of the page, he has a list and videos on all the different methods. All it really is is cutting the flake with the grain into strips, then across the grain to make tiny cubes, the you just stuff it in the pipe. I am actually about to try it with...- jchaplick

Best and Worst Pipes
Best is a boswell, its almost perfect. Worst...hmm hard one, ive gotten rid of some terrible smokers, worst ever that I actually threw away immediately was a meer lined grabow. I dont bother too much with cakes, I have also always been told the pete's are made from very dense hard briar that builds a very glassy cake that is ideal.- jchaplick
