Restoring Meers?

For over 2 years, the All Things Meerschaum Group on Smoker's Forum has dealt with this issue at great length. I suggest that you join SF and then join the ATM, which is a Public Group that requires no invitation. There's a good couple of hours reading in the sticky threads alone and the...

Interview with Gary B. Schrier, Pipeman, Author & Publisher

Great interview! Gary Schrier is one of the most astute literary forces in todays Pipe Community. He isn't trying to sell you anything nor, perhaps even more importantly, he doesn't attempt to show us his preferences as THE WAY. OK, so I don't agree with everything that he says...

    metal pipes

Try as I might over the years, metal in a Pipe is just not for me. The exception to this is the use of a screen in the bottom of a chamber that's getting thin. I'll use load stones for the same purpose.

    High Grade Meerschaum Block Scarcity

There has always been an abundance of low grade shallow mine Block, much of which has been used for jewelry, trinkets, commemorative plaques and luxury items such as chess sets. Recently, more of it has been used for the carving of Pipes. This is one of the big reasons to stay with...

    High Grade Meerschaum Block Scarcity

Recently, I've been given information and insights about the current reasons for the shortage of high grade Meerschaum Block. I want to thank Deniz for this and pass it along to members. For the past 15 years, village life in the province of Eskisehir followed the same pattern as the rest of...

This Seller has been around for a number of years. I cannot speak from personal experience, but those I've known who have done business with Meerschaum Market have been satisfied with the Pipes that they acquired. This site has Meerschaums from a number of quality Carvers to suit most...

    Baki's Executive

Baki's EXECUTIVE with Cumberland Bit & Half Oval-Half Flat Shank is a Pipe that just would not let me pass... The bit work is amazing and the symmetry of the Block is Pipe art. Once again the simple elegance of Baki's craft has seduced me...
