The Ship Has Sailed One Last Time...

Dear Friends,

Sorry to say, but my dad passed away shortly after 10a the morning of (11/24). A brief illness of pneumonia (one week of ICU) that was too pervasive to overcome. There where other pre-existing conditions including a recent infection of blastomycosis which really did not help. At 75 years (b.Oct 13 1935, Kaunas) Raimundas Namikas led a long life, if not at times trying towards the end. I will definetly miss the guy and my father.

Joe, my most sincere sympathies. Thanks for posting his pictures. He looks like a jovial guy, easy to take to and like.

I know you'll miss him, but I think you'll find that his spirit now dwells in you and the people whose lives he has touched.

Better to celebrate his life than to mourn his departure. Departure, hmmm... odd choice of words; I don't know if it

means "the act of leaving" or of "setting onto a new course".
