Grainger
The old blends have been around awhile for a reason. My grandfather smoked Prince Albert so I bought some and found it to be an great blend. Haven't tried Granger or Carter Hall yet but they are on the to get list. Hope you have many good smokes with an old classic 😎- KruegerFlap

How Often do you Really Need to Clean your Pipe?
I run a pipe cleaner through the stem after each smoke and clean the bowl with a paper towel. I try to get as much moisture and left over tobacco bits out as I can. C&D Golden Days of Yore is out
I will be picking up a couple tins of this one too. Looked at the cellar and realized I don't currently have any. I'm still waiting to see what the spooky season tobaccos and pipes will be but so far it seems like the blenders and pipe makers have just skipped right ahead to Christmas.- KruegerFlap

How Dry Is Too Dry
I also think it is blend/location/personal preference dependant. I experiment with each blend in a few different pipes to figure out which works best for my wants. Then there are the stubborn blends that seem to resist and defy all logic and physics and are just a pain in the ass 😂- KruegerFlap

Preference: Rubbed or Doubled?
I prefer to rub out flakes more often then fold and stuff. I like the fewer relights when it's rubbed out. I use the fold and stuff method with coins more often than rubbing them out just because they tend to burn ok with either method as long as the moisture level isn't too high. Dedicated Pipes
I only have one pipe that's dedicated to a single blend which is a Dr. Grabow Savoy, and it smokes Captain Black White so well that that's all it gets. Your Own "Worst" Tobacco
The only tobacco so far I refuse to smoke any more of is Borkum Riff Whiskey. I bought a pouch to try it out and fresh out the bag it tasted like a chemical weapons factory blended it. I put it in a jar for about 6 months and it became tolerable but I won't be spending any more money on that one!- KruegerFlap
