    Drying Success

The drying concept was an epiphany for me, and I assume for most guys. It's one of those things that needs to be passed on from a mentor or stumbled upon in research and discussion. Early on I had several blends that I smoked once and never came back to because I had trouble keeping them lit...

Looking For A Really Good Pipe Lighter

Unpopular opinion: Bic with hemp wick. More precise lighting, low temp flame, no taste of fuel. Some might think it's slightly less convenient to light, or disparage its use because of its connotations with wacky tobbacy, but it works great for me.

Help on De-Caking Massive Dottle Build-up

A great improvement! It always pleases me to see items restored rather than chucked in the trash pile.

Anyone Use Their Savinelli Without The Adapter?

I'm also living life on the edge. No adapter for me!

    Self Haircut

Like others mentioned, the pandemic forced me to explore alternative methods. I bought some WAHL clippers (excellent clippers made in the USA) and enlisted my wife as my new stylist. It was nerve wracking at first, but now there's no looking back. I'll never set foot in another barber shop.

    Longevity Of Samuel Gawith Tins?

I'll add my anecdote to the discussion. In my last SG order, 5 of 12 tins had compromised seals. I put them in mylar, but after reading this, it seems like I should move them to jars.

    Blessed Ennerdale

I picked some up in the last drop and just plunge my face into the bag and huff lol. I'm also curious if anyone knows why SP offers 16oz and 500g. 16oz comes loose in a bag, does the 500g come sealed in a box?

Anyone Test Their Taste Buds to Understand Their Smoking Preferences?

This is what I came looking for. Most of what I "taste" seems to be a function of my olfactory senses rather than my tongue.

    Greetings From Out West

Welcome from Colorado! My cobs outnumber my briars 10:1. I think I'll always prefer a cob. You probably will too considering you've smoked them exclusively for 10 years!
