    Trouble with Lotus Gaucho

Based on the positive reviews from some of the guys on this sight, I bought myself a Lotus L11 Gaucho lighter last year. Well, ever since I bought the lighter, I haven't been able to get it to light properly after it ran out of fuel the first time. I refill it and it'll last for a day, maybe two...

    Most beautiful pipe?

My favorite so far would have to be my Savinelli Sitting 111ks I'm a huge fan of the "classic" look, not so much a fan of crazy designs. But hey, to each his own.

    Online B&M's and Return Addresses

This question may seem weird to some of you, but I'm curious to see if there are any sites online that do not have their name in the return address. The reason being, I still live at home and my parents aren't too fond of me buying tobacco products in general. As of now I buy all my tobacco from...

    PAD: Savinelli style

It's a wonderful smoker. Pstlpkr, that's exactly what it is. A nice slow smoker. As of now I'm only smoking CH or PA out of it to break it in a bit. Can't wait to smoke some 5100 out of it.

    PAD: Savinelli style

I picked it up at Tinder Box in one of the shopping plaza's called Broadway at the Beach. I wasn't planning on getting a new pipe, but I couldn't turn this one away.

    PAD: Savinelli style

Well guys, it struck again. It's been awhile since it hit me, but PAD caused me to add my 5th pipe to my collection. While on vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC with my girlfriend I managed to pick this up: It's a Savinelli Sitting 111 KS. I also picked up a Savinelli Pisa 128, but that's for my...

What got you started on pipes?

Does she ever lay out in the sun? If so, tell her that's cancerous too.

What got you started on pipes?

So what is it that gave you the idea to pick up a pipe? For me, it started when I was young. My dad and I would build Testors models down in his workshop and his grandfathers pipe was always in the cabinet and it smelled wonderful. I was always curious how the pipe was just because of how good...

    Another storage idea

I was at work the other day (NAPA Auto Parts) and was in the paint section and thought that it might be a pretty decent idea to use clean, unused paint cans to store tobacco. If I wash them, it should be just like any tin you get tobacco in and if it's a good enough seal for paint, then it...

    Substitute for tobacco jars

Hey, El Humidor is where I go! Was just there today actually. Can't wait for the new place to open.

    Reviving FVF

Thanks for the quick help guys! Bob, I didn't notice that article before. Looks to be just what I need.

    Reviving FVF

So I opened my tin of FVF the other day, only to find it extremely dry and crispy. Apparently, SG tins do not seal well at all. My question is, is there any way to add moisture back to the tobacco to make it smokable again or should I just toss the tin? I know dry tobacco is good, but this seems...

    Cleaned Savinelli Stem. Burning Smell?

Hey guys, I'm new to the forums so hello :). I just purchased a Savinelli Venezia and I cleaned the stem with rubbing alcohol to get the glue off from the price sticker. Now my stem is discolored and smells burnt. Did I ruin the stem and is it still safe to smoke?
