What Is Meerschaum ?? And Do You Have One?

I have 3 worth mentioning. A CAO with a bad stem/tenon and two Peterson's. The CAO smokes good, I just don't find the pipe that interesting. One of the Petersons smokes fantastic (Turkish). I can't believe how smoothly tobacco burns in it. It tastes great. The other has a tight airway...

Damn, jah76 Knows How to Hook a Brother Up!

Glad you got it. I hope you enjoy it! The LBF has 6 months on it. I'm curious what you think about Jubilee. Pitchfork turned me onto it. In my humble year long experience it's very under rated. I do think Roth is right though about the LBF. Even at a few months LBF tastes much better...it...

    Va/Per Blends

I second the vote for Irish Oak. I like the back bone it has. I shill for McCelland a lot, but Beacon is a fantastic smoke for me.

Junktique/Estate Sale Finds for the Last Couple of Weekends

Nice finds! I usually find jack and squat. It's the hunt that makes the catch better I suppose.

    Suggestions for Tobacco

Welcome! I always found Louisiana Red had some nice citrus notes along with a bit of kick from the Perique. Also you might also check out the Newminster Superior Round Slices. I don't think of it as spicy, but it might be of a little interest to you.

    Try Again Etsy

I bought a modded Comoy there. The search features leave a little to be desired but honestly I didn't spend too much time fiddling with it. Overall I didn't think the interface was bad.

Rusticated an eBay Find, I Thought It Was Ugly This is What I Did

Hey welcome aboard. Good stuff. What did you use? There's some good pics online if you google image search "rustication tools". Downright medieval stuff. I tried to rusticate a old Grabow I was restoring. It came out "alright" but I learned a bit of what not to do. Nice to meet you! OH dude...

Thought I Would Share My Pipe Experiance So Far (PIC Heavy)

Nice collection. Thanks for sharing. I haven't picked up a bad Savinelli yet. I'm sure there out there, but all of mine have been great pipes.

    I Feel Blessed

Good for you Big! Haha Tenn. My wife handed me a lovely wrapped present on Father's Day and said, "If you ever get lung cancer I'll kill you." Inside was a pipe of course.

What to Break My New Pipe in With?

Ditto what Lawrence said. I don't dedicate certain pipes to specific tobaccos but I do dedicate certain pipes to TYPES of tobaccos. I really like Englishes in certain pipes and VaPers in others. FYI. If you like VaPers and your order anything from 4Noggins (sponsor on the left) try out his...

    Yuck

Six, thanks for the tip. My wife picked me up a tin of W.O. Larson's Signature Mixture. (I swear she's got a secret plot to get me smoking something with a good room note.) I've had a few bowls. It definitely likes wider bowls (seemed to want to run hot in narrower bowls). It's got a really...

    Younger Generation

I used to think my oldest chocolate lab was part beaver. When he got nervous or really excited he would run off and grab a branch from the stick pile and plop down and start gnawing on it.
