    Match light

    You can order a Thunderbird insert for your Zippo that is. Mine leaked like a sieve, but the Old Cajun has some tricks for filling and "securing" them. I just use wooden matches and a bic. My wife got me a new Zippo pipe light but I haven't tried it out.

    I will say, all of my pipes have their own personality and traits that fit alongside my own. (same with tobacco) They share my experiences. Same can't be said for a lot of material things in my life. I'm the guy with 10 identical black shirts and 10 identical pairs of chinos. Great topic.

    Pipes and Booze

    I can always taste the rum, vodka, or bourbon on the first smoke, but only if I smoke it on the same day. After you clean it, take a match put it in the bowl a few times. Gets rid of any taste or fuzzies. Be quick or it'll go out.
