Last TAD For A Couple Years.

Congrats Yak! My kids have taught me so many wonderful and horrible things about myself. No matter how bad my day went I've always got three people who are always happy to see me home. (Least while their little.)

    You Might Not Understand

Welcome! Kyriefurro is right. For every good buy I make on Ebay I lose about 10-15. I just try to look at them not so much as something I've lost, but instead an example of staying within my personal boundaries. Ebay pipes are always a gamble even if you scour the pictures and know exactly...

    GL Pease Fillmore

I smoked about three bowls of a new tin before I jarred the rest. I found it a bit muddled and stirred up. I've really enjoyed the other Pease blends I've had so in a year or so I'm going to give Fillmore another try.

What Are You Smoking? August 2013

Going to try and sneek out before a meeting and get some Lane's LEO in a Flacon and some coffee.

Your Take on Zippo and Pipes

I have a pipe lighter insert and I don't like it. I find it's troublesome getting flake and course cut latakia tobaccos lit with it. I stick to a bic.

What Are You Smoking? August 2013

Lancers Slices in an old, broken down, Dunhill Dublin that smokes just fine. Coffee. Warm summer night. I like Latakia better in the heat I'm finding.

Looking for Want Mild, Non Aromatic Low Nicotine, Tin & Mc Clelland

McCelland's Jubilee. I continually shill for it and them.

    Hyde Park

Nachman I'm glad you like it. Personally I find the Lakelands overwhelming. I jarred it after two bowls. I'm hoping to pull it out next year and give it another go.

To Rub Or Not To Rub

Dry Rub followed by a white vinegar, chili flake, and white pepper mopping sauce every hour for the first half of the cook. Ya'll are making me hungry. Least that's what I do on my pork shoulders. Far as flakes go, I tend to fold them, twist/tear them, then smoke them. I like them a little...

What Are You Smoking? August 2013

A Birth Year Dunhill for Number Six

Grats Six! You of course need another that was made the same year you got married. Then there's the kids birthdays too!

    Lane Limited's LEO- Early Thoughts

Yeah. I'm not a huge fan of Lakelands either. I always feel like that they're a joke I just don't get.

What Are You Smoking? August 2013

Lane's LEO in a rusticated Peterson XL315. Coffee.

    Lane Limited's LEO- Early Thoughts

I've smoked about 8ish bowls of this tobacco so far and it came up in conversation in another thread. I didn't want to go too off topic in that thread so here are my thoughts (not so much a review) of LEO by Lane. First off, I haven't experienced many English blends and those I'm attracted to...

    Presbyterian Mixture - New Favourite!

McCelland's Jubilee. Sugary Virginias, Latakias, Orientals, and Perique. Sweet, tangy, tasty. I tend to like my English tobacco's on the mild side and slightly sweet. I can appreciate the tastes of the heavier blends they just end up being too much for an entire pipe. I'm still hunting...

    Survey on Stem Preferences

Bend that SOB in half. I like a big old jaw hanger while I'm puttering around. Seriously, I have a few straights and semi bents in the Rhodesian and Bulldog families, but I'm comforted by a big pipe full of my favorite tobacco hanging off my chin. When I'm driving or working in the yard I...

What Are You Smoking? August 2013

Leo in a Comoy Rhodesian nose warmer. Crown Royal (hey I'm slummin' today). I sat at the picnic table with my oldest son and we talked about clearing some trees and putting in a garden next spring. Still smoking those pork shoulders from this morning.

I can't help but smile when I see puppy pics. Thanks Cajun.
