June 2011 - What are you Smoking?

Back porch, full moon rising, still hot even after the sun has gone away. Amphora Red in a bent Grabow Omega works for me.

Crazy from the heat. 108F today and I worked outside all day in it! So now I will embark on the Royal Yacht in a small Calibresi and think of sea mist and siren songs...

June 2011 - What are you Smoking?

HOT! Cracked the century mark out here in Vegas today. Now, I'm creeping out of the house into the forgiving night with a bowl of Louisiana Red in the freehand cob. Jug of water on the side. :puffy:

June 2011 - What are you Smoking?

Hot out on the desert today. Thankfully, no wildfires in this vicinity. Hot weather means Burley and I mean to fill my freehand cob to the brim with Sir Walter. Iced tea on the side.

    Sutliff Tobacco Tin Descriptions

Bubba, I like them too. I also liked that they ditched the comparisons of their blends to other "lost" blends ie. "CD Blend is like Country Doctor, No. 5 is like My Mixture", etc. I like No. 5 for what it is, which is nothing like My Mixture. Bacchanalia is a tasty aromatic and it doesn't have...

    Sutliff Tobacco Tin Descriptions

Been reading the tin descriptions of the new Sutliff Private Stock blends over at smokingpipes.com. Wow! Altadis must have hired a hell of a copywriter! Each one is like a little pipe story. Looks like they did some rewrites on many of the older blends as well. Fun! :puffy:
