    Latest Addition Comoy's Riband

Yeah. This is a new pipe. I always forget to ask the tobacconist for the name of a pipe when I get a new one. Always end up scouring Smokingpipes and whatnot until I come across it. Gonna throw a pre apology out there for whenever I mislabel a pipe. As for the smoking part; it does seem to...

    Empty Tins

Haha! That clock is hilarious. I never would have thought of that. Perhaps a bit too ambitious for me though.

    Latest Addition Comoy's Riband

One of two new pipes I recently added to my small but growing collection. Nothing special. The grain is what caught my eye. It's also a first for me in several ways; my first Canadian and first matte finish. The only negative is cleaning. The shank requires a longer cleaner and I don't have...

    Empty Tins

I haven't thrown out any of my empty tins and the drawer they are kept in is filling quickly. I mainly keep them because it helps me remember what I have already smoked. I am going to start keeping a pipe/tobacco journal so I don't really see a point in having them around anymore. They will...

Breaking News From the BBC: American Invents the Devil's Rope

Nice to know the history of something I have come to despise after a lifetime of putting up fence. Still using barb wire as it was originally used back then except now we have augers and fence stretchers (thankfully). Now if someone would only invent an easier way to unroll those damn spools...

Meet and Greet, Social Smoke (Bloomington, IN area)

Gonna try and roll my ass out of bed before the crack of noon Saturday.

    There Will Be Blood

There Will Be Blood is an excellent film. Daniel Day Lewis is one of my favorite actors. I can't think of a movie in which he gave a poor performance. I only wish he took more roles. 29 credits in 46 years isn't exactly prolific.

    Smoking Indoors

I am primarily an inside smoker. I enjoy an occasional bowl under the shade tree in the front yard. I live in the country so smoking outdoors is not problem.

    Favorite YouTube Reviewers

I am fond of Bremen Pipe Smoker as well. I like the way he pronounces Cavendish.

*** What Are You Smoking?*** (June 2017)

Finishing my first can of Frog Morton. I think it goes well with a mini can of ginger ale for some reason. I am new to the scene so the jury is still out on Latakia. I am not sure I want to smoke it all the time but it's a good change of pace.

    The Mancave Get's a Make-Over.

Very nice indeed! I think you have progressed beyond "man cave" and are entering smoking parlour, drawing room, study territory.

    My First Pipe !

Congratulations. That is a nice looking pipe. I really like the amber stem.

Looking At Pipes Can Be An Addiction

I am like a kid in a candy shop or toy store when I go to The Briar and Burley. I want one of everything.

    West Central Indiana Pipers

In the Bloomington area. Would like to know what location, if any, you decided upon. Obviously, I couldn't attend something as far north as South Bend and the like. Would really like to meet and talk to other pipe smokers considering I am the only one I know out of all my friends and...

    Central Indiana Pipe Smokers

Just outside of Bloomington here. Briar and Burley is the only place I go for the simple reason I don't know of anywhere else. Willing to go wherever though. It would be nice to see how other shops compare.

Nice. Where did you find that pot?

What Music Are You Listening To? - May 2017

I have been listening to Beethoven lately. Fur Elise, 5th, and 7th Symphonies in particular. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lHOYvIhLxo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYSooMonRv8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lkcvrxj0eLY

    Online tobacconist vs local tobacconist

I am new to pipes but prefer my brick and mortar store to the internet. I find it has several advantages. The experience is probably first among them. Having interesting conversations with the staff in the smoking lounge is relaxing and informative. Being able to hold and see a pipe as it...

    New Member Introduction - 2017

Got it. Thanks jpmcwjr. I am really digging the Tilbury and Evening Stroll. Apparently the people I smoke the Evening Stroll around like it as well. I thought I liked the Escudo but the more I smoked the less I seemed to enjoy it. The Early Morning Pipe is a bit "weak" for my taste. I...

    New Member Introduction - 2017

Here are the tobaccos: http://pipesmagazine.com/members/zackery/album/picture/22266 Sorry. Having some problems with the Image code tab and apparently I am too slow for the editing timer. Link to the album I guess.
