    Favorite Pipe Makers...

Me, personally, I love Mario Grandi pipes. I think they're beautiful, smoke perfectly, and are very reasonably priced. I've got several that I've picked up all for sub $100 and couldn't be happier. I can't afford crazy expensive pipes, so I'll take my Mario Grandis and Savinellis all day.

    Showing Off Some Recent Purchases

Well, not really recently, but recently put back into rotation after hiatus. Some real nice finds here that I got super lucky on. Mario Grandi that I picked up for $80. Slightly whimsical but still very functional. The wide bit is extremely comfortable and smokes very cool. I love this one a...

You, Your Pipe and Your SO

The wife used to smoke cigs. I never have, but I love cigars and pipes and she's extremely tolerant, god love her. She likes it when I smoke aromatics, which is not often, but sometimes Ill crack open a bulk aromatic and set it on a dish to make the room smell good, just a small amount, works...

Cornel and Diehl Now Has a Cthulhu Themed Line of Tobaccos....WHAT?!

Put an order in with spc earlier today and managed to snag some dreams of kadath. Thanks to everyone for the recommendation

Found In The Back Of My Closet

See, I don't smoke enough to have a cellar of that size. A two ounce tin will last me two weeks or better. My entire cellar fits into one of those big Rubbermaid tubs, and in all honesty, one of those full of 2 ounce tins will probably last the rest of my life. If I open something and don't like...

Cornell & Diehl: Bluegrass...The Sleeper has Awakened

That's to say nothing of the fact that Kyle MacLachlan shows up to deliver that blend to your door personally, and no one wants that.

Found In The Back Of My Closet

Hold up hold up. You're posted something relating to a tobacco that's NOT Black Frigate?! My world just got thrown into upheaval.

    Greetings from Chicago

Whereabouts and in what part of Chicago? I'm not terribly far off, about 1.5 hour south of you, in and around the Bloomington area. If you ever find yourself down that way shoot me a PM and we could meet up for a smoke. Oh, and welcome!

English Blends for a VaPer Man

I just found an old jar of GL Pease Chelsea Morning that I had socked away because I told myself at the time that I didn't like it. I don't really know what the hell was wrong with me back then because I just had a bowl of it tonight and I found it to be a wonderful light English. More sweet...

Cornel and Diehl Now Has a Cthulhu Themed Line of Tobaccos....WHAT?!

Dreams of Kadath does sound like it would be right up my alley, so I might have to include that in my order, or if there is someone out there with a surplus that they would be willing to trade even a partial tin of, I'm sure I have something that would make it worth your while. Good lord...

    A Barling Rather Than A Barling's

All I can say is that the stem needs some TLC but the grain on that pipe is impressive. I like it!

    Cornell & Diehl Redburn

When I originally tried BR, I was smoking a LOT and my technique was piss poor at the time, so I'm sure that I was constantly frying my tongue and not able to appreciate whatever subtleties were in BR. I'm going to pick that tin back up here in the next week or so to see if keeping it jarred all...

Cornel and Diehl Now Has a Cthulhu Themed Line of Tobaccos....WHAT?!

Yeah I put the down the pipe for a while about 3 or 4 years ago for reasons that I won't get into here, and I picked it back up here about 2 weeks ago for reasons that I also won't get into here, so there's been quite a lot that I missed. I think the last time I smoked regularly was right about...

Cornel and Diehl Now Has a Cthulhu Themed Line of Tobaccos....WHAT?!

So I'm minding my own business on the smoking pipes website (in secret, of course, so as not to alert my wife to the fact that I'm looking to spend money that I don't have), and I start to see these Cornell and Diehl tobaccos that are themed around the Cthulhu mythos. I am a huge whore for...

    End Of The Day

My newest thing at work when someone acts or does something stupid is to say, "I blame those damn bath salts".
