    Cracked My Paykoc

She smokes like a dream and fits in the case just fine. Another problem solved by the Pipesmag Forum Detectives.

You guys are more useful than my real friends

    Cracked My Paykoc

Oops too late. Apparently JB weld is resistant to heat so if I don't taste anything I'm gonna continue rocking on with it. As long as it smokes I guess

    Cracked My Paykoc

My biggest concern at this point is an air gap.

    Cracked My Paykoc

Shout out to Josh @ Paykoc Pipes. Sending me a new pipe of higher value for free. I will post a pic of my epoxy job before or after class tonight. JB Weld works fine?

    Cracked My Paykoc

I'm gonna see if they'll send me another one. With that drilling job I can't imagine it would hold up very long.

    Cracked My Paykoc

Paykoc Pipes. $95 Canadian Lattice I love this pipe and it's not returnable after smoking. I probably wouldn't return it anyway. But last night I was smoking in my idling car to avoid a chill (not my usual practice). I let the pipe sit on the roof of my car to cool off. The delta T in temp was...

    Another pipe dedication question.

I got through a bowl of nightcap match today in my "ghosted" meer. I got lat flavors the whole way through. tomorrow i can smoke my nice blends. I limited my smoking for a few days and smoked a couple burley leaves through the pipe. delicious

Bringing a Meerschaum back to life

Pucker your lips and blow real hard. Or put it next to a dryer vent. I just recommend blowing off instead of wiping off because meer scratches easily. Compressed air cans are sold at most big box stores in the US

Bringing a Meerschaum back to life

Air compressor for dust. I rinsed my meer after treating for a ghost, inside and out, with cold tap water. Wipe with clean towel. It will discolor momentarily, but put it near a space heater over night and it will go back to its pre-rinse color. Whiskey or ever clear (in 3-5 drops) may freshen...

    Graduating Beyond Novice Level

A bowl that normally lasted me 10-15 minutes lasted an hour while I wrote that post last night. Puffing doesn't work for me anymore:(

    Graduating Beyond Novice Level

It was a warm winter evening. I burned my mouth as I had done many times before. But this time was different. For my taste was no more. They said smoke slow. I said "Hell no," So and so chirped, "You're smoking too fast. A cadence like that? Boy, You'll never last." I toasted my tongue. Mucus...

Sorry. Must be projecting my dark sense of humor. I thought that last line was a punch line

    Little Bo Peep

Pigs need significantly less land. A lot of that stuff still applies to goats. They are much more personable in my brief times with them. There's a bigger market for their meat and milk also. Make sure to band/castrate the boys so you can sell their meat. a couple rams are good to have for...

    Little Bo Peep

I'm experienced with sheep. Wool is a pain. You better know a shearer, be ready to pay them, or be ready to clip em yourself which is wrestling large animals. We had hair sheep and had them for meat. Sheep die without any notice. Strong the night before their death. Merinos are the cutest little...

    Another pipe dedication question.

I like that leathery-oily lat flavor best. I have coffee in my meerschaum in an attempt to draw out the vanilla oil. The pipe smells like vanilla even after a few days and different blends. I just got it last week so it's a big disappointment. Still, I think my taste buds in terms of smoke...
