***What Are You Smoking, January 2023?***

Acadian perique from 2013 in a Chacom.

    Smoking Upgrade!

I like the ease and convenience of an electric pellet smoker but miss the " manning the fire" aspect of my past stick burner horizontal smoker. Also think there is better flavor with a traditional smoker. I've got 4& 1/2 years until I retire and when I do ill be driving to south Georgia to buy a...

    Smoking Upgrade!

Gonna put a 12lb butt on the camp chef tonight at midnight. Smoke for 15 hours at 225 to an internal temp of 195. Rest for an hour and dig in😋.

    Show Us Your French Pipes

My only Chacom. I should by more, its a good smoker, just never think of them when looking for a new pipe.

    Guinness Draft

Extra stout is my preferred beer. If I make a pot roast I use a bottle of Guinness Extra instead of beef stock. Delicious 😋.

    Falkland Islands Joke. Gotta See.

This was when Steve Rizzo went on the John Boy and Billy show back in the late 90's. Best heard in its entirety on the big show archives. Don't know how they didn't get a fine from the FCC.

    PAD at work

I do. As an elevator service technician its something and some place different every day. And the pay don't suck either.

    PAD at work

Went to Burns tobacco and billiards today to work on their elevator. They have a bunch of Peterson Christmas 2020 pipes in stock. 136.00 for the pipe at 30% off. 104.00 out the door, I couldn't pass that up. So a nice B42 fishtail is now in my possession. If you're ever in the Chattanooga area...

    Hangover Solution.

In my navy days if you were on the flight schedule and also a little bit hung over you went and visited the parachute riggers shop and took a few big hits of oxygen. 15 minutes later your ready to fly. Well you were good enough that you didn't puke.

The Last Third of the Bowl

This is going to sound crazy. But for "palate fatigue" I'll eat a couple of jumbo jalapeño stuffed olives, sometimes floating in 3oz of beefeater gin 😁.

    New Pipe Racks…Opinions and Criticisms

The light color of the leather with black walnut wood would look nice. You could do some in cherry as well.

    Burley lovers, looking for recommendations

Don't turn your nose up, but prince Albert is pretty dang good. Especially in the morning with coffee. I like it enough to have a pipe dedicated to it, a Sav 207 is perfect for PA.

It's a grocery chain. North Georgia, the Carolinas, southern Virginia and east Tennessee.

    Fragile Power Grid

Generac 22kw home generator and a buried 500 gallon propane tank. Little bit of money but I don't have to worry about the power going out.

    Found Prince Albert while Shopping.

While at my local Ingles grocery store I happened to be standing in line to check out and noticed they had Prince Albert, Bugler, and Carter Hall tobacco in the front of the store shelves. Told the wife it probably 45 dollars or so for the Price Albert and that i can get it cheaper online...
