Repair Directory?

I was late with the news that Mike Myers of Walker Pipe Repair closed down shop. I've only had one pipe repaired and he did a great job on it. I was wondering if there’s a directory that we’ve got on the forum for a list of folks who do repairs.

I just found myself wondering the same things. I’ve several older pipes in need of replacement stems and shank repairs, but there are no local options for that kind of work.

BriarWorks (pipemakers in TN, founded by Todd Johnson and Pete Prevost) or Briarville (pipe repair in GA)? Regardless, do you know if they recreate the various Savinelli stem stampings? I have some stummels that are missing the correct stems (I’m leaning towards sending them to Italy so that they remain 100% Savinelli, if not 100% original).

Sorry, I meant Briarville.

I am not aware of any pipe repair places that have stem stampings on hand.

It was Briarville. No Savinelli stamping on the new stem.

It depends on the level of expertise you need. At the high end we have our own @georged . Then there's Tim West, who did really excellent work for me at: J. H. Lowe & Co, American Smoking Pipes, Rich Lewis at Lewis Pipe Repair and in Canada, Dad's Pipes Dad's Pipes. Do a simple Google search: tobacco pipe repair, and you'll see quite a few options.

No repairman in the US has the Sav script stamp
