honestly you should have just bit the bullet and gone all in. Meaning you should have bought a meat smoking factory and stopped slumming it with this personal use at home smoking meats. Nice.
You do realize that everytime you fire that up one to ten of us are just going to be lunting around your neighborhood.
I’m jealous of the cool smoker and now pouting because it’s another 60 days before I can rock on the deck with a pipe while putting fire to all things meat!
Just as a point of reference my Cookshack smoker uses 2-3 pieces of wood each about the size of a pack of cigarettes for an all night smoke. It appeals to my underlying laziness, load it, turn in on and forget about it until the temperature alarm indicates it's done.
I like the ease and convenience of an electric pellet smoker but miss the " manning the fire" aspect of my past stick burner horizontal smoker. Also think there is better flavor with a traditional smoker. I've got 4& 1/2 years until I retire and when I do ill be driving to south Georgia to buy a Lang reverse flow smoker and go back to manning the fires.
Every time I fall for this thread. Thinking some new pipe or new tobacco, and click on it and it's meat smoking. Nothing wrong with meat smoking, and I love it. I need to get on to this activity.
