First try today and I'm loving it so far. It provides much more smoke and doesn't add any noticeable heat. I used the base unit for heat.

Did some brisket burnt ends, pork loin chops, and bone/marrow:

Everything was fantastic but I'm still learning and can do better.

@shanez @Blue ridge smoke looking good.

Just as a point of reference my Cookshack smoker uses 2-3 pieces of wood each about the size of a pack of cigarettes for an all night smoke. It appeals to my underlying laziness, load it, turn in on and forget about it until the temperature alarm indicates it's done.

I like the ease and convenience of an electric pellet smoker but miss the " manning the fire" aspect of my past stick burner horizontal smoker. Also think there is better flavor with a traditional smoker. I've got 4& 1/2 years until I retire and when I do ill be driving to south Georgia to buy a Lang reverse flow smoker and go back to manning the fires.

Every time I fall for this thread. Thinking some new pipe or new tobacco, and click on it and it's meat smoking. Nothing wrong with meat smoking, and I love it. I need to get on to this activity.
