How far down do you smoke?

I try to smoke to the bottom but usually it is about 1/10th left in the bottom. The only tobacco I have been able to smoke to the bottom was PA Cherry vanilla in a hardwood pipe. Most of the time I smoke until I'm tired of it then I take what's left out and run a pipe cleaner through it. :puffy:

    Cleaning a Pipe TOO OFTEN?

Always run a pipe cleaner through the pipe after I smoke. Haven't done the alcohol clean because I haven't found it necessary yet. Will probably need to use some pipe sweetener at some point. I use a chamy on the bowl and stem regularly. Don't want to mess up the patina some of my pipes have. I...

    Looks Like Sugar is Next

It's all about control. The reason they want to limit sugar is because of health care costs of dealing with sugar related diseases, i.e. diabetes etc. Same with tobacco and alcohol. Just my 2 cents worth.

    Cherry Aromatic Tobacco

I just tried PA Cherry vanilla and was quite suprised. Not that bad, very mild and kinda non-discript but pleasant none the less. Would recommend this to someone who wants to try an aromatic. mild and does not bite. Going to go smoke another bowl right now just before the Carolina/Duke...

    Unsmoked Pipes

I have approximately 25 pipes and they have all been smoked, granted some more than others but all get smoked. I have increased my inventory just so I will have a variety. Even if I get an expensive one, it will be smoked. that's why I took up pipes. Each to their own. Regards, Sam :puffy:

What is your current "go to" or "everyday" smoke?

I lean more the aromatics and will smoke english blends occasionally. Right now my current fav's are Lanes 1-Q and MacBarens 7 Seas Royal, but I would be open to hearing from anyone if they have a favorite aromatic I could try, knowing what I am smoking now. :puffy:
