    Flake packing methods?

I have been smoking a pipe for quite a while now, but have only had ribbon cut tobacco.Just the other day I went to my local B&M and got an oz. of baccy that smelled great...A knock off of Lane Blue Note. Then once I got home and began to pack my pipe I realized it was very moist, sticky and...

    Ole Times in FL

I really like the Clermont branch, they have a wide variety of blends and there's actually one in the Lake Square Mall in Leesburg but it's no longer an affiliate of the other two. That's actually where I get my tobacco, unfortunately they don't have as big of a selection, but they do have my...

    Brebbia Go-Go Mad Max style

Thanks guys,I finally just got a chance to smoke it, and Oh my god I love it.this is my first nosewarmer and for being so close it's so cool, smooth and compliments my favorite tobacco beautifully.I may have to get another one to shine up pretty for contrast,or a Brebbia Churchwarden to make...

    Brebbia Go-Go Mad Max style

Awesome!!That's what I was going for. When I got it, at a glance it was ish-nice, that's part of why I got it.After some research, aside of knowing Brebbia is a well thought of brand, I found that it is one of the better/higher resale pipes I've found for the price I paid.Although once I sat down...

    Brebbia Go-Go Mad Max style

LOL..Thanks...Generally I try to actually restore these pipes but something just said "Screw it,it's already busted..embrace it, don't fix it". It does seem to be sound internally though. Can't wait to smoke it to see!!

Finished my "Make your own Pipe"

Nice job...Being "A Dremel Guy" myself they have a bit for carving/shaving wood that I have found to work better and faster than sanding bits and seem to last MUCH longer IMHO.I'll see if I can find a pic or the bit # if you're interested.

    Brebbia Go-Go Mad Max style

Finished re-doing this Brebbia nosewarmer in the "Mad Max Fashion" last night.I have never seen a pipe with so many factory fills before, along with tons of scratches, dents and the bowl being out of round I decided to do it to look beat up.I figured if Max had a pipe it would be small (for easy...

    Restoring Briar Bowls

There will be many more answers to come from the rest of the guys here, but heres what I do normally. 1.If you're planning to re-stain then go ahead and start sanding with 400 grit to get all the old stain off so it's an even color. Then you can stain it using Fiebing's leather stain, make sure to...

    A good first pipe

I may sound like a cheap bastard but I have to stand by it..My first briar pipe was a Dr.Grabow Omega for $35 and it is one of my favorites still and Only NEW pipe I've ever purchased.Personally it only took 4 bowls in the 1/2 then whole order to break it in.After that just great smokes...It is...
