    Why are Dunhills so costly?

not sure myself, all I could do was laugh. Could not see what the reason was for getting all riled up. I guess questioning Dunhill is sacrilegious to some. That fact that this pipe forum questions not only Dunhill but every pipe, makes it the best damned pipe forum anywhere imho.

    50's fridge = humidor?

Ok, I've finally got myself a 1950's fridge. Well it's a freezer but I've always wanted one! It's like having a classic car right inside your home, lol. When I shut the door it feels like I'm shutting the door to a 53 Caddy. I love the curved style. On to my point, it does need a new start relay...

    Why are Dunhills so costly?

Maybe a lot of the mistique of Dunhills arrives at the fact many of the renowned pipe makers of today and yesteryear worked at the Dunhill factory before branching out on their own.. I don't know, but I just have not felt the urge to purchase a Dunhill quite yet, every time I get close, I see...

    Tobacco Tins

Bootleg Brilliant! :D I have a small collection of older tins, I will have to turn one of them into a clock. Cool idea. My new empty tins usually get lables identifying what I put inside, type of screws, power tool bits, etc. If the rubber seal is still in good order, a great way to have a...

    "Who Let the Dogs Out?!"

Wonderful pipes unclearther. Unfortunately in the anique world some people are buying up those old pipes with silver caps and bands just to sell the silver or gold. Love the restorations!

    Always a spare cob

Before I left on my latest construction job off the coast of Norway on an island building a hydro powerplant I thought to bring along not only a few pipes for myself but a cob because their is always someone that wants a puff. First thing that happened when I took my first evening smoke before...

What makes a pipe a good smoker ?

What makes a pipe a good smoker? Everyone probably has their own take on that. It all comes down to enjoyment. If a pipe brings you happiness, it is a good smoker.

    airport security and Pipe

Sorry if this thread already exists. I'm flying tomorrow and wondering if any of you have had any problems flying with your pipe and tobacco. I packed in my check-in bag, 1 can of Erinmore, two pipes in pouch with some loose aromatic, and folded a pipe magazine around all that. Anything I should...

    St. Bruno and Condor

I never chose Erinmore Mix to be my all day smoke.. but seems it has been choosing me. OK price for this side of the pond. One step above an OTC blend, but a pretty darn big step. Taste great from start to finish. I have not flown the condor yet or visited St.Bruno's church. Might think about...
