    Anyway -- also smoking some Kramer's Blend for Cary Grant in a Savinelli Canadian, trying to channel his cool. (I think also it is a pipe I've had since Missouri days... not sure where I got it, though. Could have been in Columbia.

    After a busy Sunday (which did include a quick trip to the beach and some overdue body surfing in pretty small waves) I’m reading the Sunday paper, having a mug of tea and a pipe of C&D Super Balkan in a rusticated up meer. Used to smoke meers a lot but haven’t lately. Hope everyone is doing well.

    On a quick vacation to Ojai - wasn’t sure about the smoking potential but packed a pipe and some tobacco anyways. And we’re off to the end of the site so I was able to have some Fr Dempsey in a small travel briar. I’ll try to get photos tomorrow.

    Have to watch a Zoom call I missed (I believe this is somewhere in an updated version of Dante's circles of Hell) so am taking the opportunity to have a pipe: Capstan Blue in a House Pipe (which will need cleaning after this smoke; I may never buy a bent pipe again).

    Went to an event for one of our mayoral candidates and now I'm relaxing with Kramer's Father Dempsey in my Pete Aran. I doubt had I been at the Derby I would have put money on the longest shot. Oh well. Such is life.

    Just finished a bowl of Wessex Campaign Dark flake in a S. Klein Dublin; smoked it surreptitiously while on a phone call with my firm's managing partner, and I was done with it right when the call ended. Kismet! And the perfect "crime."
