I prefer the mystique of a well dressed Pug, or a pipe smoking rabbit...? ...and I fine tuned it yet again. I really like the rabbit story & theme! Great American history. Don’t need to, but find the whole “repurpose” game fun and a good puzzle. 100g McB tins & Champagne corks make a convenient ashtray..., and an old belt with a nut & bolt make a decent pipe stand. I also use empty Snus cans for tobacco travel cases. And old pallets, a rainy weekend, a few...- Ctbill

To be clear - I got my idea from this forum to “repurpose” my brass for tampers...and I think it’s awesome (and pretty cool, with a good story to boot). I’m just not handy enough to make great versions. But happy to jam some dowel or appropriately sized sticks into a 9mm case...and slap some...- Ctbill

I made a few dowel & 9mm shell case tampers recently. Brass/spent case was ”free”, and the 36” dowel cost me $0.65. Had fun with stain, paint, bedliner (pictured!), and just burning wood for effect. At 4” each, I got 9 tampers! Gave all but one away already. Golf tee and nails live in my...- Ctbill
