    C&D Nutty Irishman

I can agree with that. The note vs the palette did not match at all. Yes, there was some sweetness in the taste but nothing like the aroma. If one were to compare Nutty Irishman to Autumn Evening, AE has both aroma and taste. Either way, NI is a smooth blend and I enjoy smoking it.

    Just a Noobie

Welcome fellow newbie. I just began this journey on valentine's day. I have collected 3 pipes and 10 blends thus far... it's an addiction. If you ever wanna chat from a newbie's perspective, let me know.

    Stokkebye 314 Dark Fired

I wouldn't say it's mild but the complete opposite but again it is based on one's palette. I agree that it can be put into a blend that may be very sweet to tone it down.

    C&D Nutty Irishman

Okay... this blend is amazing. The room note is as if you walked into a sundae shop. The sweet smell of caramel and nuts is very apparent. It's not too sweet but just right. If you are an sweet aromatic smoker and do not have this in your collection, you are truly missing out.

    Sutliff Burma Road

This blend is very intriguing as it has harsh tones of perique but a sweetness that balances it. It is flavored with rum and vanilla which is very apparent. This blend reminds me of Mac Baren Mixture Scottish w/o the roller coaster of flavors. Burma Road and stark levels of difference like a...

    Stokkebye 314 Dark Fired

This blend is very strong. It is as if one were to take a burnt piece of wood and laced it with chili powder and black pepper. It is very tangy and spicy but it grows on you. It's a blend that is a once a day or once a week smoke. So if you like spicy tobacco, this blend hits the mark 100%.

    My New Rossi Lucca 611EX

Just got my new Rossi Lucca 611EX Dublin and wow does it smoke like a champ. It's the first Dublin I have ever owned in the 2 weeks I have been a pipe smoker :) The ease of flow for the smoke is very elegant and smooth. The making of the pipe is well made. It truly has impressed me.

Cornell & Diehl Autumn Evening Review

An updated review on this blend... I really love it!! I am not sure why the first few times weren't jivin' with me but wow my perspective on this blend has changed dramatically. We shall call the initial review a first impression :)

I decided to go with a Rossi Lucca 611EX and it should be here tomorrow. I hope I will enjoy it:)

    Erin Go Bragh Irish Whiskey

Honestly, I do not drink alcohol so I actually wouldn't know lol

    Erin Go Bragh Irish Whiskey

It's only $4.50 for 1.75oz. Like I said, I only smoked it 2x so I am far from giving up on it. I do know their pipes suck as I bought one and got it a few days ago and it's like a plastic toy... very disappointed.

    Beginner Perspective of Peterson's Nightcap

I have tried Nightcap at different times of the day.. different weather conditions and it's at the bottom of the list for me. Though I am a brand new smoker, I am really interested in learning the science of blending.

    Stokkebye Peaches & Cream Review

I will be on the lookout for that blend. i am intrigued. I am married to a McClelland which is related to the whiskey and tobacco maker.

    Sutliff Dark Decadence

I am still perplexed by this blend. It says one will taste dark fruits and vanilla but I don't sense the fruits. The vanilla is very upfront but not extreme. It is not too sweet and not too smoky. I am anxious to mix this with perhaps a Navy flake or red virginia flake.

    Erin Go Bragh Irish Whiskey

Indeed. It won't go to waste. I always try blends each time expecting a new sensation :)

    Sutliff Maple & Walnut

I was really excited to receive this blend but the excitement stopped when I tried it. After many smokes of this, it is very heavy on the maple with subtle hints of walnut but barely. It is a very sweet blend and feels as if I am swallowing a teaspoon of syrup with each draw. I wish there was...

    Sutliff Creme Brulee

I really enjoy this blend. The room note is very pleasant and the taste is not too sweet. It is a saturated blend no matter how much you air/dry it out. Many prefer their blends between dry & moist and hence I believe I am will coin the term "DROIST" for that balance and this blend does hit that...

    Erin Go Bragh Irish Whiskey

I kept hearing over and over how great this blend was and then I tried it. I have only smoked it twice in the 24hrs I have obtained it and I am not impressed. The pouch note is fantastic but the taste simply doesn't come close to the note. I will keep exploring this blend and may come to like...

    Stokkebye Peaches & Cream Review

It's about the journey... that is why i only buy 1-2oz of things I am unfamiliar with.
