    Lorenzo Spitfire Pipes

Does anyone have any experience with this make and line of pipes? Seem like they are nice designs at reasonable prices. I did notice that the smooth finish pies they offer have generous fills! Otherwise, the various rusticated finishes offered look pretty nice. I have a rusticated volcano...

If You Could Only Have 7 Pipes.. Which Ones Are They?

I'd be darn well pleased with 7 of Mark Tinsky's offerings. Or maybe 7 Gorgeous Castello Sea Rocks. Or maybe a mix of each! :col:

I almost fell into that spell... great smoking Scottish pipes with the fine aroma of a good bowl wafting over the bonnie countryside - made in Italy, France, wherever.

    Dunhill / Peterson Apertif

So whatever became of Dunhill Apertif? Did Peterson pick up this bend along with the other Dunhill offerings, or was Apertif simply put to pasture and therefore, discontinued?

    Recommendations On What to Try

From reading abut Condor Green, it looks like you either like aromatics, or that is just what was available for you at the time. It seems that many, if not most pipe smokers are in one of two camps - aromatic smokers or non-aromatic smokers. many swing both ways. On the non-aromatic side...

    G & H Brown Ropes

Tell you what - these Brown Ropes are amazingly good and smoooooth as silk. A real velvet hammer. Wonderful for mixing with other English bends and give you both great Virginia flavors as well smoky Latakia. Thanks for the rec - will look into that source for the Bogey.

    G & H Brown Ropes

So, what is the difference between G&H Brown Irish X and Happy Bogie? I love the Brown Irish x and SG Brown No 4. Cannot find Happy Bogie in stock to compare.

Mix - SG Balkan Flake & SG Brown No. 4

I received both of these in bulk from another fine member of this forum and finally found time to try them out. After reading that the Brown No. 4 is pretty strong stuff, I decided to heed a recommendation to mix with another blend. No real science here - just mixed the two equally at 50-50...

    'Mixing' - Not 'Blending'

So, have you ever done any mixing of your on-hand blends? I'm about to give it a go after reading a suggestion on SG Brown No. 4. They say it is likely too strong for those not accustomed to rope tobaccos and further recommend adding to your regular blend. 'You will know it's there!' I'm game...

    Tins or Bags?

So, with Brands such as Esoterica and a few others, do you prefer to buy tins in 2oz or 8oz bags? In other words, if you were to stock up and buy equal volumes, would you buy 4-2oz tins or 1-8oz bag?

Cellars - Complete or Still Working?

Last year, thought I was done. Then I re-connected with this forum. Since then, TAD has hit with a vengeance! Bought more in the last year than in the previous 5! So, I closed to finished, but buying with reckless abandon. ?

Cellars - Complete or Still Working?

So where is everyone with their cellar stocks? Any of these fit the mould... Went way overboard - need to sell to get things under control. You are finished - not looking any longer - have what you like / need. :sher: You are pretty much done, but may add one here & there to fill a few...
