My personal opinion on that is it's pretty darn subjective. I dunno. I fall on the younger side of the median age, I guess. Being where I live (weed is a multi-billion dollar underground industry in British Columbia, lots of anti-tobacco laws), I suppose a pipe would be associated with weed instead of tobacco. Solani XSM in a Vauen Rhodesian chuchwarden. I've been smoking this pipe since last summer with the short stem instead of the CW, and thinking it was unbalanced. I finally gave it a shot with the long stem and it was transformed. Was a perfect pipe in the hand. Simon- classicgeek
