It's Not A Gandalf! (mini rant)

I agree 100% Cyndi. I just meant in my last post that, when I post something about a MacQueen pipe on this forum and I refer to it as a MacQueen Wizard, I only do so since pretty much everyone on here knows that's MacQueens version of a churchwarden. If I'm talking to someone who isn't familiar...

Orange Bowl Cowards Cave on False Propaganda

Abbott: So students aren't allowed to use tobacco during games and practices? Costello: That's right. Abbott: But if a cigar company sponsors the event, they're allowed? Costello: No, they're still forbidden to use tobacco. Abbott: So the cigar company could still sponsor the event. Costello...

    7 Seas Royal added

I'm with Cyndi on this one. I'm currently working my way through a tin of 7 Seas Black and loving every puff of it. Regular and Royal are tied in second place for me with Gold bringing up the rear in third. I have not tried 7 Seas Cherry yet but plan on it very soon! :puffy:

Piper Ramblings & a Passing Question

I met a guy who buys tubs of Bugler cigarette tobacco to smoke in his pipe. He smokes that and nothing else. Why? Because he likes it.

What's your New Year's Eve Plans

Sounds better than any party I've ever been to. :D As you can guess thats my plan as well as I never was big on the whole New Year celebration thing. It's just another day on the calendar to me.

    Trying New Stuff

Mac Baren Golden Extra is a good one to try as well!

Fun Fact About Andrew Jackson's Wife

That reminds me of a story I heard when taking a tour of the "Molly Brown House" here in Denver. Molly Brown was one of the survivors of the Titanic and became known as the "Unsinkable" Molly Brown. Anyway, on the tour as you enter the kitchen of her old home, they tell the story about how her...

What's the deal with Dr. Grabow?

    Oops, double post.

What's the deal with Dr. Grabow?

I should order a couple as well. The local "Smoker Friendly" store near my house had a couple of the Roylaton pipes, but when I went back a week later they had sold them all. I like them.

Black Christmas (In a good way!)

Very cool!!! I was just looking at that very same pipe the other day on Smokingpipes.com. It's on my "to buy" list! :D

    Holiday season smoke?

This. I don't have a special "holiday" tobacco or place either. It's just an all'round good day to smoke, so I smoke whatever tickles my fancy at the moment (which at this moment is 7 Seas Black Blend!) :puffy:

Teeth Clencher or Hand Holder/Straight or Bent

Predominately a hand holder and prefer straight pipes. :-)

    The Pipe

    Favorite Movie Starring the Duke?

I know I'm a heretic for saying this, but I was never a John Wayne fan either. I don't know...I've tried to watch some of his films and I just can't get in to them. Now Clint Eastwood on the other hand.... :D

    OMG this guy has issues

If it was done in jest, it was done in poor taste. This guy sorta reminds me of another fellow on there. His reviews consist of page long "stories" that read like a crappy, third rate romance novel. They rarely make any sense and tell you little to nothing about the blend that, I guess he thinks...

Merry Christmas to Me! PipesandCigars.com Rocks!!!

Not yet and thank you for reminding me! I almost forgot I received a sample of it. Tonight I plan on loading two bowls. One with the 7 Seas Black and another with the Sweet & Savory. I'll let you know how it is!

Merry Christmas to Me! PipesandCigars.com Rocks!!!

It uses butane so I would say yes to your second question. There is small cap that you unscrew on the bottom of the lighter that reveals the fill port. I'm in love with this lighter. I know most people, regardless of whether they can afford it or not, would never think of spending that much for...

Piper Ramblings & a Passing Question

One of the best posts I've read in awhile. I agree with you 100% about your feelings towards pipe smoking, especially this, "The pipe is everything you never got but dearly wanted from tobacco." I too am a former cigarette smoker and one who actually liked cigarettes. I treated them much the...

Merry Christmas to Me! PipesandCigars.com Rocks!!!

Thanks all! I haven't had a chance to partake in anything yet. But, tomorrow I plan to dive into that tin of 7 Seas Black, the tin note has me salivating. :P

    Misleading ebay auctions

I saw this little feedback exchange recently on Ebay... Feedback from buyer: Item is NOT a smoking pipe but a replica of one. Seller offered 50% back. NO Response by seller: Of course it is a replica the real deal cost big bucks!! The auction was for a large Calabash that was listed as a tobacco...
