    Calling All Coffee Junkies

I've found coffee and a pipe are a great combination. I'm not picky but I don't like Folgers or Maxwell House. I like a lot of the Caribou blends. Dunkin Donuts makes a good cup. I also enjoy a few of the Seattle's Best blends.

    Refurb an old Meerschaum

Ok, so I used a pipe ream to get rid of all the cake buildup (there wasn't really much there) and then continued wiping it out with paper towels and q-tips dipped in vodka. Once they were coming out mostly clean, I filled the bowl with vodka and let it sit for a few minutes (I used pipe...

    Angler's Dream

I thought it was a generous sample as well. And it burned slow so it should last a bit.

    Angler's Dream

Had half a bowl. That's not much to go on yet - I'll have several before I decide if I really like it or not. First impression is: The aroma of the tobacco is great. It's got a bit of a hot cocoa touch but not overwhelming. The room note is really pleasant. That's where I thought the...

    85 years do I dare

That's a really cool find. Whatever you do with it, document it and keep us posted. I like the idea of a video of the tin opening.

Just got mine in the mail a few minutes ago. I'll be lighting up a bowl in a few minutes. Anxious to try it.

    Refurb an old Meerschaum

Thanks I was thinking that as well. I've also seen people lining the bowl of a briar with alcohol and burning it out a few times but was a little unsure since it's meerschaum. Seems most are saying since the alcohol will leech the nicotine & tar, that you want that to stay in the pipe (for...

    Free sample

Nice to hear - can't wait to try mine but it hasn't come in the mail yet. Here's hoping for today!

    Refurb an old Meerschaum

I acquired an old Meerschaum that's actually in great condition - I don't think it was smoked much at all as there is very little coloring other than the beeswax. The problem is the fact that it's been sitting in an attic for about 30 years. I've cleaned out the stem after soaking it overnight...

    That frog on the bayou

I was looking at the Frog Mortons for my next TAD purchase. OTB looks like it may make the list.

    At last some organization

Good setup. I have a hutch on the desk in my office with two cabinets and one of those store my tobacco's. Looks and smells great when I open up that door :)

    What do You do?

That's cool. I wish we could find a more complimentarian practice in my area. My wife and I are really sick of the sick care industry...

    Atlanta Pipe Club Review

That's really cool. Glad you had a great time. I think we've got one going on in Nashville but I'm not sure of the status. This definitely makes me want to think about attending.
