Huge score in the mail today: TAD, PAD, and RAD

I opened my front door this morning and received quite a pleasant surprise. My sample of Anglers Dream came in, my tobacco trade with Paul is now complete (thank you very much Paul), I got my newest pipe rack, and my new ebay pipe find showed up all at the same time! :D

The pipe has a marking that says "Vanili" on the bottom and was packaged in an old Tinderbox bag. Dont know if there is any correlation between the two.

well, there are a lot of things I never thought I'd say to a man that I have ended up saying...er, wait.
But in all honesty, I'm jealous of the rack, going to go peruse the antique stores by my house today I think, and I still haven't gotten my angler's in the mail yet...

I got the rack for next to nothing on ebay (I think it was like $13 shipped). Its going to be the rack for the front room, the place where I set my just smoked, freshly cleaned pipes. I generally grab 2 or 3 pipes at a time from upstairs, smoke them, clean them, then I get lazy and dont want to take them back upstairs, so Ive been setting them in the travel case. This rack will take care of that.

Ive found that anything by Cornell and Diehl that is heavy in Virginia doesnt really agree with me all that well. The Navy Cavendish wasnt by any means bad, but I myself found the smoke to be a little bland, to be honest. Your thoughts on either/both? Also, I noticed that you marked the date you received the tin? Im guessing thats for aging purposes? If so, thats a really nifty idea. I should have thought of that sooner.
