***What Are You Smoking, January 2022?***

Enjoying more KBV Verge21 in an army mount Pete 120 Dublin. I'll probably try to get some work done after this pipe to prepare for a busy week.

KBV Verge21 in my Savinelli Punto Oro sandblasted army mount Dublin 412.

***What Are You Smoking, January 2022?***

Currently smoking some WCC Simply Red in my London Made X155 army mount Pete. This pipe is one of my favorite VA smokers and is probably the reason I've gone down the bulldog Peterson rabbit hole.

***What Are You Smoking, January 2022?***

WCC Old Dominion in my Savinelli Punto Oro 504 sandblasted bulldog. I bought a half a pound each of 558 and Old Dominion a couple months back when Rouxgaroux dropped and this bowl is the last of that pound. Final consensus for me is that it's great tobacco but not something I need to cellar...

***What Are You Smoking, January 2022?***

Enjoying another bowl of WCC 558, this time in a Peterson 120 army mount. I've got a couple of these Dublin shaped army mount Pete's and they always smoke VA and VA/per blends exceptionally well.

***What Are You Smoking, January 2022?***

Enjoying WCC 558 in a Peterson Ragaire 150. This pipe has a great sandblast on it and the army mount without the metal collar is very interesting. Been really enjoying the WCC flakes recently.

Stand Back, I Think She's Gonna Blow !!!

Agreed, I always try to remember that I might as well be optimistic. Not like it's gonna hurt anything. I had an 8 ounce tin of Chenet's Cake that started bulging significantly within 6 months of me buying it back in ~2016. Curiosity eventually got the best of me and I cracked it open to find...

    Hello from NC!

Welcome from another NC native! Seems we've got quite a collection of NC folks on here nowadays.

    Empty Tobacco Cans

I also keep some to stick around my man cave for decoration and I like the old square tins for a carry tin I can throw in my pocket. 8 ounce tins are great for storage in the shop but the rest get thrown out.

    My Addled Brain Strikes Again

Obviously the next thing to do after securing a lifetime of tobacco is to ensure you can enjoy your pipes and tobacco. I rarely do a deep clean of my pipes, I'll say it's for the sake of frugality and not laziness, but I usually use 1 pipe cleaner per bowl I smoke. Plus however many I end up...

***What Are You Smoking, December 2021?***

Finishing up some Tilbury in my 2018 Peterson Christmas sandblasted army mount.

Don't Want to Spend a Lot on a Rack

I never wanted to spend a lot of money on pipe stands either. I inherited a 6 pipe stand from my grandfather but all the other pipe stands I have I found used. eBay is helpful sometimes but the majority of my pipe stands have come from antique shops. Go to enough antique shops and you're...

Regional Delicacies / Specialties Of Your Area

I see a number of other NC folks have mentioned the BBQ. I also saw fried okra was mentioned and that was an ever present side at my grandma's and it always reminds me of her. I didn't see moonshine mentioned though. While I love a good aged whiskey whether it's scotch, rye, bourbon, or Irish...

    Impressive Purchase.

That's why I jumped at the SH Christmas pipes this year, I've been on a bulldog kick and have always preferred sandblasted pipes. But that all combined with finally seeing a SH with a fishtail lead me to pick up two. Now thanks to this post I took another look at smoking pipes and found the...

***What Are You Smoking, November 2021?***

Enjoying a bowl of Wessex Gold Slice in my Savinelli Punto Oro army mount Dublin.

    The World Series 2021

I didn't want to say anything before it was official and jinx them. I grew up watching the Braves with my grandfather who was a huge fan. Kinda surreal to finally see them win another World Series!

Rouxgaroux Time Again… Who Bought Some?

I got some for the first time this year as well as some 558 and Old Dominion. I've only had the Simply Red and Rhythm and Blues from WCC so looking forward to trying out some new blends.

    The World Series 2021

What a start to game 5! Let's go Braves!

    The World Series 2021

Enjoyed watching this game much more than game 2 as a Braves fan. And I always enjoy a pitchers duel. Lots of scoring and back and forth is fun but there is nothing like a 1-0 game through 7 and 1/2 to keep you on the edge of your seat.

    MClelland Cellars

On the one hand, not nearly enough. On the other hand, probably all I'll ever have at current prices. I have enough to open 1 tin of 40th for my Birthday and 1 tin of Christmas Cheer around Christmas time for the next 20-30 years. I wish I had more Blackwood's, St James Flake, No. 27, 5100...
