    Carburetor Pipes?

This one of my Kaywoodie Carburetor pipes (that I smoke, the rest are in restoration backlog). It's a good smoker but no matter how much I fiddle with plugging or not plugging the hole in the bowl I don't really notice much of a difference with the carburetor feature.

Do You Have an Aversion to Bulldogs?

I actually run a sanctuary for bulldog pipes and encourage the sending of all bulldog pipes to this sanctuary where they can be free and be smoked to their hearts content. Yeah I have no aversion. puffy

Who Else Does This Type of Rustication/Blast?

Agreed. Damnit to hell I'm going to have to buy one of those too...

Who Else Does This Type of Rustication/Blast?

I certainly see one in my future. Glad to hear they smoke as good as they look.

Who Else Does This Type of Rustication/Blast?

Interesting. I would not have guessed, but after it was mentioned it certainly seems correct. I have not seen black rusticated meerschaum before. Just great, another type of pipe to "need". puffy

    Hello, All!

Welcome from MN. I too agree in variety. I rarely reach for the same blend twice in a row.

Who Else Does This Type of Rustication/Blast?

Beautiful! That's not a maker I am familiar with, which is exactly what I am looking for. Thank you.

Who Else Does This Type of Rustication/Blast?

Strangely there are no markings I can see on the stummel. The now closed eBay auction had great pictures and other than the P on the stem there are no markings. I was just watching it because I liked the rustication.

Who Else Does This Type of Rustication/Blast?

Here is a Joe Case that is on the lighter side but still a very fine rustication.

Who Else Does This Type of Rustication/Blast?

Who else does this type of Rustication/blast? This seems like an unusual rustication on a Pete as well. I recall seeing a Joe Case egg shape pipe with similar Rustication/blast and I should have bought it when I had the chance. I have looked since and not seen any others by him with similar...

Yes sir. Arrived this morning. Did my normal sanitizing, although it was very clean, and will give it a test drive in the am.

What is This Pipe/Too Nice For Basket Pipe?

This was an eBay find. I bought it because I liked the rusticstion and Cumberland stem. Figured it was a "basket" pipe but was a bit surprised when it arrived. It just seems very very well made. But I can find no other identifying marks other than the BAR R2. And I can't find any definitive...

Lol. That's pretty close to what I paid.

What is This Pipe/Too Nice For Basket Pipe?

Agreed it definitely has a Sea Rock style to it. This is a style of rusticstion I like. I'm not very familiar with Barclay Rex other than I recognize the name. I will do some digging.

What is This Pipe/Too Nice For Basket Pipe?

This is a strange one. Seems to be an anonymous basket pipe but at the same time seems too well made to be a basket pipe. It is a vulcanite Cumberland stem. Drilling and fit is near perfect. The stem is even drilled with an ever so slight tapered airway. Anyone have any info on these...

Today, January 22, is National Hot Sauce Day

Wife bought me this as a bit of a gag gift knowing my love of hot sauce. Actually pretty good. Excellent on seafood.
