I got about 25 mostly smooth ones and few rusticated and like them...But everytime i like everything else on a sandblasted pipe there is some sandblasted finish flaw I can't get over..Like deep uneven holes top of bowl sandblasted uneven,no rings in sandblast etc..- NC TX ID pipeman

Once in a blue moon you can find a nice blasted Peterson which looks better than theirs PSB..But comparing their blasts to my vintage pipes is day and a night...Just saying...I like Peterson but do not have their blast pipe yet...maybe one day- NC TX ID pipeman

Not unpleasant shape but unpleasant blasting...They had maybe 10 of them first and during few minutes they been down to 5...Only 2 of them looked decent blast or rustication...- NC TX ID pipeman

Just noticed SP has those POY 2021Petersons 4AB in stock...They are quite unpleasant to my eye and thin walled but a lot of people like them...Sandblasting on my vintage Parker,Kriswill,Savinelli and other no name pipes looks a lot better than this...To this day Peterson can not learn how to...- NC TX ID pipeman

A Question For You Ebay Sellers...
I had weird experience with ebay lately... I bid on surplus extreme cold weather pants 40,-$..I was first bidder...it only showed up my bid as 20$,-...Nobody else bid.I won ...for 20$ less than real amount of my bid...I would have pay 20$ more...Seller got cheated by Ebay!!- NC TX ID pipeman

Does Anyone Smoke a Tyrolean Pipe Regularly?
I got a few made out of porcelain...smoked it once ...tobacco tasted bad,it smoked hot and weird...I do smoke a few historic tyroleans made out of briar..They are great...The baden cherry stem make the pipe taste sweet and it smokes cool...- NC TX ID pipeman

My Two New Neerups!
I own 2 P.Jepessen Ida pipes..They are beautifull..Volcano one smokes great...The freehand is so so and it burned through after like 10-20 smokes...I was shocked...The freehand shape was cut a little too much so thickness of the wall was compromised at the rear side area of the bowl...Finish on...- NC TX ID pipeman

Ghosting/Dedicated Pipes.
My pipes are dedicated to English/balkan blends,Pure VA blends,VA/Per blends,vintage really old tobacco blends and few for aromatics..also got a few beater pipes I smoke anything in them.I got a few specific pipes dedicated to the specific tobaccos because that tobacco taste like a heaven from...- NC TX ID pipeman

Brand New Peterson?
I did have this kind of bowl coating on 2019 John Bull POY and 2020 terra cotta House pipe....it cracked after about 6 months before I even smoked the pipe...It needs to be wiped off or it will stain if it gets wet...this coating is horrible....- NC TX ID pipeman

Novelty probably is a strong word...All it matters is that you like the pipe and it is actually quite cool unusual pipe...Those German pipes in smaller versions are pretty light and because they are hangers you barely know you got them in your mouth...and they got a lot of history I have got...- NC TX ID pipeman

if not sure if you want to smoke it yet try to get on ebay some old german (tyrolean,black forest) original pipe...they are not expensive..They smoke great...they are mostly carved with unique hunting themes...their stem is made out of Baden cherry which gives it a sweet taste....They smoke...- NC TX ID pipeman
