    Cotton Club, The Film

I am sure they were casting in August of 1982, so it was probably shot in late '82 and '83. Did I do your picture?

The Pipe Pundit on the Demise of Dunhill and PipeWorks & Wilke Tobaccos

By the way, sable, are you a painter? I use only sable kolinsky brushes for oil and watercolor painting.

The Pipe Pundit on the Demise of Dunhill and PipeWorks & Wilke Tobaccos

Sable: Dunhill tobaccos were much better in the 1950s. It was a while before I could decide between Sobranie and 965. Back then I was very poor and had to pick one. It was Balkan Sobranie. The 965 today is only a rough approximation. But in deference to the past I have a lot of it aging. Will...

Joe Rogan/Steven Crowder Smoke Pipes On Show

Love Joe Rogan; his commentary on MMA and his standup. What and where is his show?

    Cotton Club, The Film

I just saw this film for the first time since 1984 when it was released. The TV version was censored just a little. This film was cast in 1982 when I had a new actor's headshot photo studio in Manhattan. Things were slow, but when they cast Cotton Club they needed hundreds of people. My studio...

    Showoff Your Dunhill Pipes Here!

I don't have photos of them all. Here are a few. Sorry, photobucket was too slow tonight to post more.

    Beards and Beard Oil

You are supposed to oil them?

I'm Drinking Too Much And Driving My Wife Crazy

Send her out for another bottle. (It is not wise to take my advice on wives. I have not seen mine since last September.)

    Buy a Dunhill pipe?

At last count I had 103 Dunhills, and have sold dozens. They are close to being the best pipes available, but not quite. I love them because they are consistent. If I get a certain shape size and finish, I know what the taste will be. The best tasting finishes, in order are root, amber root...

    3 Oaks Syrian Available

I have over 100 cans. But I wonder, is it me or is the stuff more diluted?

Other than pipe smoking I like to...

It used to be stone carving, motorcycles and women. Now that I am a senior it is painting and a little wood carving.

The Pipe Pundit on the Demise of Dunhill and PipeWorks & Wilke Tobaccos

I will have a limited supply (a few hundred cans)of aged Dunhill for sale.

How Many Tobaccos Do You Have "Live"?

About 1100 cans, a few pound of bulk and some pouches. It is a lifetime supply. The reason is to get very well aged tobaccos and to avoid future internet and tobacco taxes.

What Should I Expect To Pay For A Dunhill?

To value a used Dunhill check the price of a new one, same shape, finish and size. A used one is worth a little less than half if in excellent condition. Beware of the older Dunhills. They may be worth more to collectors, but are possibly oversmoked.

All Your Pipes, Double Your Money; Would You?

Double the market value would be less than I paid for them. Would refuse the offer.

Watcha Gonna Buy With Your Holiday Money?

There is no holiday money. If there were, I would use it for a tour of Mexican brothels.

    Got pulled over tonight.

It's a damned shame that the cops are so nosy. I used to love smoking a lightweight bent billiard when driving. Now I don't because I do not want those !@#$%^&* to stop me.

Zsa Zsa Gabor Passes Away at 99

I loved her, especially when she slapped that traffic cop. She got her dime's worth out of that incarnation.

    Dunhill Elizabethan Mixture Review

You didn't mention that there is some sort of flavor added to this blend which dominates it. I liked it at first, then began to dislike it.
