If everyone does run out, and you don't mind paying $50.00 CDN a tin we have quite a few left at the Canadian wholesaler. ;)

Hey Nate, the blender ran out. Of course it would take a few weeks for those last batches to come to market.

3 Oaks Syrian was one of my favorites not too long ago... three tins left now from a relatively big buy. That'll do me. My tastes have moved on to other beauties! But the memory of that affair with 3OS is sweet upon the mind!

I have over 100 cans. But I wonder, is it me or is the stuff more diluted?
I noticed what I chalked up as some crop-variation, with what I'm guessing are the VAs, between my tins of '14 '15 and '16. The '14 was darkest overall, also probably due to some aging of the VAs & Orientals, the '15 seemed to have noticeably brighter red and brown colors and a much stronger fruity VA aroma, and the '16 went back to being darker with less VA aroma, but not quite as dark as the '14. They all seemed to have good Syrian Latakia odor. I don't recall thinking that they smoked terribly differently, but it's been a while and I should see how they are doing now. What did you notice, and what year tin was it, foggymountian?

I have a few tins hanging around, but havnt smoked any yet, and I'm reluctant to crack another tin open. I do like the MacBaren Vintage Syrian.

How do the two compare, as far as Syrian flavour?
