    The Sound of a Zippo

    Two Estate CAO Meerschaums

I did also have thick cakes in 2 of my CAO Beklers...I just slowly chipped it of- sliding the dull screwdriver and sharper knife between the wall and cake..but it may be even easier with hot water to soften the cake...The one of yours is coloring nicely almost looking like translucent meerschaum...

Coloring Progress Over Time/No of Bowls in one Meerschaum Pipe

We will see...What surprises me again and again is how thick the cake is in each meer from my antique store purchases...It may not be a prefered wisdom back then not to build a cake in a meer....Guys-the patina looks so much better in real it is like a 3D ...Hot water is a good idea...

Coloring Progress Over Time/No of Bowls in one Meerschaum Pipe

It is buried deeply under the wax...wiping it ain't gona do anything...I think I will leave it there it is a cool patina....maybe if the wax is melted you could eventually wipe it of but just maybe....

Coloring Progress Over Time/No of Bowls in one Meerschaum Pipe

Pipe above has interesting coloring...I think that it is ash flying during smoking and wax sealed it in or coloring from dirty hands during smoking it...It is under wax...Got this one several months ago at the antique store...need to fix the stem

    Best Pipe for Aromatics

Well I was not talking about pipes 2 feet long weighting about 10 lb as I know your pipes preference.....but small canadians or lowats I have seen broken many times at the thin wall shank..by the way...I would not be surpriced if in a future some states will require a weapon permit for sizes...
