Yes, due to the fact that he was a reputable silversmith, I am surprised that the two Ferndowns pictured here do not have silver bands. I rather do like sterling silver bands on pipes, but I suppose it is good to have a variety.- redz

Tobacco Shack Germantown
Yeah, I guess they come and go fairly quickly. I've heard of the one in Mt Airy, but not sure if they're affiliated. The one in Germantown is now in the shopping center on the corner of Mateny Rd and Great Seneca Hwy, in between the Popeyes and Shoppers. You'll miss it if you don't know it's...- redz

8:00 AM to 7:00 PM I believe. Google says they close at 6:00, but when I called on the phone the other day the guy told me 7:00.- redz

I was under the impression that they were located on Wisteria Dr by the Dutch Market, but I found it on Mateny Rd by the Shoppers. Looks like they're renovating, so maybe they recently moved. There used to be a shop on Montgomery Village Ave too.- redz
