    Thanks for that. I never really thought about that word until now. There really is no "Authentic" American BBQ, but I guess it would apply if you said "Authentic Richmond B. Funkenhouser's BBQ from Alabama".

    I wouldn’t smoke. Just a big wad of Redman in the jaw and some ice cold Strohs beer. Gotta spit in the fire and watch it sizzle……… That’s just how I grew up and my preference. I just enjoy the smokiness of the fire itself 🤷🏻‍♂️

    I have no idea what tobaccos he smoked. I got the pleasure of attending one of his campus lectures in 1986 or 87............. I can't recall, but it was a really good time, in Athens, Ohio. Graham was a Great man, so full of life, and he was really down to Earth and very entertaining...
