Viking pipes from bjarne
My smoking buddy had only a viking for a while. He liked it well enough bet he now has a Brebia and a Peterson that he says both smoke better, but they were both more expensive. I've smoked it a couple of times and liked it just fine.- kamikazesasquatch

Oh, and the cob smoked VERY well. I'm a new fan. The only problem I had with it was the stem was plastic and I didn't like the way it felt. Didn't even notice until I started smoking but then it was pretty obvious.- kamikazesasquatch

Solani 633 - Age before opening?
I've never heard that viewpoint before. But like Jud said, I don't think they would mind too much. I'm sure there would be a lot more pre aged stuff on the market if the blenders were able to do so. Plus, I'm sure the intent of the blend is to enjoy it ;)- kamikazesasquatch

7 tobacco's arrived seconds ago, what to try first
Hopefully I'll have that same problem in a day or 2 (the wait is killing me!). The only one of those I've had is Larry's Blend and I liked it pretty well. I'm pretty sure I'll be busting open one of the frogs first thing though.- kamikazesasquatch

Does the pipe have anything to do with it? I'm far from being a consistent smoker but I do tend to notice some pipes do better than others at burning all the way down. So I'm almost afraid to ask but would any of you veterans like to tell me if I got ripped off or if those are good prices? Shipped the Sav was $36, the Vauen was $30, and the BC was $30. As long as they all smoke well then I'd say $30 is a bargain regardless but I'd like to start getting an idea...- kamikazesasquatch
