What Cigar are You Smoking? 2024

Had a Nub Habano tonight. In a previous post I mentioned having no luck with Nubs, but this thing was completely wonderful. My wife, who doesn't smoke anything but a cigar or two a year, took a few puffs and loved it. Luckily I had another on hand and she smoked it and loved it. It was a...

***What Are You Smoking, July 2024?***

Telegraph Hill in a J Mouton Canadian. First time trying this blend, looks like another winner from Pease.

***What Are You Smoking, July 2024?***

Having some Pease Navigator in a Growley. Relaxing with my four year old before the craziness of going to see fireworks. Not looking forward to the traffic and crowds.

***What Are You Smoking, July 2024?***

Trying to enjoy some Pease Temple Bar in a Peterson Carrollton this morning. This blend just doesn't work for me. I keep trying it but just no luck. I think I'll let it age for a few years and see what I think then.

What Cigar are You Smoking? 2024

***What Are You Smoking, June 2024?***

Going back to work after a week off, so I am enjoying a commute smoke. Enjoying some Pease Stratford in a Peterson Carrollton - still working on breaking it in. I think this will be the perfect size pipe for my commute - small bowl, lightweight, and the slight bend makes for easy jaw hang.

    Hairline Crack Mid-Shank

Thanks everyone! The picture isn't the best, but it was the best I could get out of my cheap phone camera. Here's a zoomed in photo of the concerned area. I really appreciate the responses as they help me not worry about it much.

    Hairline Crack Mid-Shank

I just got this (I believe) Family Era Barling, and discovered a tiny crack mid-shank. I can find many posts on cracks at the mortise, but no luck on this location. So, what can I do? Is there a way to address the crack? Should I attempt any kind of repair? Should I just smoke it and not worry...

What Cigar are You Smoking? 2024

Foundation Charter Oak Petite Maduro. Had high hopes this could be a go to, but no such luck. It was okay, but a certain flavor note that I couldn't name put me off for the first two thirds. The last third was quite tasty though.

Some Orlik Golden Slice in a J Mouton Canadian to start the day.
