    Sun Bear 30th anniversary!!!!

I got mine coming. I too want it to cellar but I will probably open just because I'm anxious to try it based upon the comments I've heard about the recipe. After that then I'll let it jar for awhile.

Two Nice B&M's Out in Portland, OR Area

Just an fyi, there are several shops out in the greater Portland area. I hit a couple of nice one's. 82nd Avenue Tobacco & Pipe, smaller shop with a fairly good selection of tin and bulk tobaccos (some bulk blends you don't see very often) and pipes, very competitive pricing and that's coming...

    B&M's in Novi, Michigan Area

Other than Paul's Pipe Shop up in Flint, which is an institution by the way, Campbell's over in East Lansing and Hill's over on the eastside, there are none. I used to live up there and still get to there area quite often. On the UofM campus there is Maisson Edwards but they a super expensive so...

    Morning Pipe Rituals

I agree as that has been my experience too. Can't beat the artistic styling but the cheap threaded plastic tendons are consistently problematic as well, at least for me. But if Meerschaums are your thing then do enjoy as everyone has subjective preferences.

    Morning Pipe Rituals

Every morning when I come downstairs, my ritual is to first pour a large cup of coffee grab, throw in an ice cube to cool it and then immediately go to my den to smoke my pipe(s). I smoke English, English, and more English else it's a bad day coming.

A Little Surprise From My Tobacco Shop.

First, sorry for your troubles, that's rough man. My local buy-em discount tobacco house procures SV English Mixture just for me as I buy out their entire inventory when arrives. Nice thoughtful people. Got to have my morning cheapo as my palate finally wakes up for the good stuff.

    Pipe Smoking and Facial Hair

I only grow my goatee and stache back during the winter, but yes it's kind like an abiding pipe tobacco scented air freshener residing under your nose. Latakia really sticks

    English Aficionados

First question is there a bad English? Some so-so ones but still they are ENGLISH! For me, my very first English experience still trips my primary trigger that being Stokkebye's English Oriental Supreme. What follows based upon objective scoring for the many I've reviewed : SPC Plum Pudding...

4th of July, Tobacco, and Founding Fathers

What an energy it is, feels great to me! He speaks volumes to the price elasticity of demand. Namely we pipers flex due to our passion. Nice article.

Hello, Intermediate Piper Getting Back Into It

Finding a good apple blend has been a futile search for me personally since Middleton discontinued theirs. Though about making my own.

***What Are You Smoking, July 2022?***

Well it is the first day of July isn't it and a hot one here in Ohio. After finishing my lunch and celebrated dessert tasty Wilke Peanut Butter, yum! , now I've progressed to some of C&D's Cordial in this (made for) Middleton Bull Dog/Rhodesian briar

    Peterson with a Hole!

With a little bit of briar dust and a 2 part epoxy mixed together that defect with fill in. Just get a furniture repair marker to shade it to match. Many of the estates that I restore have those. Its a defect that can be easily fixed.

Doctor and Master of Pipes Awards

For those individuals who have made a significant contribution to the piping industry, it seems like an appropriate recognition. An honorable distinction voted by a body of previous winners is a major accomplishment. Folks should be acknowledged and rewarded for their good efforts. If you listen...
