Selling Off Bulk Aged Loose Tobacco Query.

I think it all depends on the blends and pricing. I think a lot of folks would be more intimidate by price rather than quantity. EDIT...I'm sorry, just noticed you live in UK. My comment may not apply.

8deco Shank Reamers: Thoughts and Review

I also ground a flat on the drill bit and added a set screw, without it there's a good chance you'll trist the handle off the drill bit.

Would you keep an ugly pipe that smokes really well?

Not all Algerian briar is created equal. I've seen some fabulous Algerian briar blocks.

8deco Shank Reamers: Thoughts and Review

Here's one I made many years ago from a standard drill bit. The handle is a piece of acrylic rod, but just about anything will work for a handle. I re-ground the 59 deg. point to a ball or radius. These are not one size fits all tools. This was made for a specific pipe brand. It's surprising how...

Would you keep an ugly pipe that smokes really well?

Or.......maybe they could cut it up and cook smaller portions. If someone gave me a whole cow I'd be very grateful even though it wouldn't fit in my oven.

Would you keep an ugly pipe that smokes really well?

If they smoke great, sure, keep them. If you ever start making pipes, you'll learn to love the ugly ones, those are the ones you keep😂

    Friday Discussion: Tamper or Finger?

Most always tamper. Finger in a pinch but I normally always have a tamper handy. I don't feel I can ever get the edge of the bowl where the tobacco meets the wood properly. With my finger I just get a depression in the middle. I'd rather have the ash higher in the middle rather than a...

***What Are You Smoking, December 2024?***

I would not hesitate if the price was right. To me, it was right up there with Scottish Nuns and State Express Roundels.

***What Are You Smoking, December 2024?***

Don't know if you ever smoked that Wills's Cut Golden Bar but that was some pretty fantastic tobacco. I'd be OK if that was the only tobacco I had.

Pipes by Lee Soaking Up Oil

Well, You could take this as far as you want. Is sucking smoke and the additives in tobacco and all the carcinogens related food grade safe? Bottom line, try to minimize toxicity when ever possible. I think the main reason of not using olive or vegetable oil is it turning rancid. What does...

    What's The Difference...?

You'll have to try the to really know. The brown ropes are similar, the black I believe are treated with olive oil and give that charred beef taste. If you like one, you'll probably like the others.
