Are Acrylic Stems Bad For Teeth?

    Thanks for the new look

    Rose Geranium

It's been done on another forum. I would be very discriminating about what product I'd use. I think you'd get a good idea/ taste of it from the other members suggestions.

Are Acrylic Stems Bad For Teeth?

Not all acrylic is equal. Some is "soft" and has some give, some is hard as a rock. This. Clay can sharpen steel knives, fairly easily. I've done it. It abrades at a microscopic level. I would never bite into clay. My teeth hurt just thinking about it.

    Amphora Thoughts

Count me as another fan, Original and Burley are to my tastes.

Pineapple on Pizza: Yea or Nay?

I don't like it, at all. But I have strong feelings about the pretentiousness of those who dictate what "should" be, in regards to food. Whatever others want to eat is none of my business.

Tell Me your Favorite Wine-Tobacco Pairing

Tawny Porto and a pipe is my favorite booze pairing. Otherwise any full-bodied red will do, though it's usually Port or a non-alcoholic beverage for me.

    Defective General Cob

I use beeswax and melt it into the voids with a lighter. As has already been said, there is plaster on smooth cobs which can be sensitive to moisture/humidity. I've experienced your same issue over time. Smoking also fills in any cracks as they form.

Vacuum Seal on 100g Solani Tins

This. No seal was lost because it never existed.

Rodent Abatement: What's Your Preferred Method?

Definitely a cat. My cat will relentlessly hunt a rat/mouse if he knows one is anywhere around.

    Throw out Disgusting Tobacco?

All opened latakia blends that I don't like all go in a big jar. Sequestered for a decades-long slumber until something arises. I won't be opening any latakia blends for many, many years. For non - latakia blends, especially those that contain a topping I don't like, I add some moisture, jar...

    Everyone Looking Forward To Reacher?

Dunno. Earlier amazon series were great. Lately (Amazon produced The Expanse, and The Wheel of Time) they've been very disappointing. I'll be happy if it's good. At end of every day, when me and the Ms. finally meet up, we watch whatever we can on the streaming platforms/apps. We need a good...

    Jack Howell Big Ass Billiard

Very nice. Simple enough to be timeless, classy, but just flashy enough with the crisp execution of the shape and the blast. Always enjoy seeing his pipes on this forum.

    C&D Folklore

    Recent TAD Pick-Ups

Speaking of Esoterica and other Unicorns... I just purchased two 12oz tubs o' Carter Hall for $65 shipped. NOW that's a solid tobacky.

    Recent TAD Pick-Ups

The last of the rectangular/square tins phased out about 3 years IIRC, so anything newer than that is all round, all the time. The last couple of years I've got Plumcake, the royal jerseys, and Pelican in a round tin.

Is This Dunbar Tin From 1997?

    Definitely a 90's vintage tin.

    My New Jack Howell Bulldog

Great as always. I always like your taste in pipes. Am I the only one who loves when a pipe that nice is heavily used? I've enjoyed watching your Altinay Dublin gain patina, I look forward to the same with this one.
